My wife has not missed her period. A urine test came back negative. But... she has had bloody discharge although her period is still two weeks away and she is always regular, her belly is becoming round and firm although she has not changed her diet and works out, she is also having discharge from her breast, and has had some minor pain in her belly. she has been more moody lately. I have three children already so I have been through this before. Sounds like she is prenant but why is she having her period and a negative urine test? By the symptoms it sounds like she would be at least two months along.

My son is going on 12 and in middle school. My husband just had "the talk" with him. He has been asking a lot of questions lately and we believe that it's better that he hear it from us than someone at school or on the football field. He is so innocent and I wonder if we told him too soon. My husband basically...w/o going into too much detail told him where babies come from, the correct terminology for parts of the body, hormones, puberty etc. I am pregnant w/ our 4th and he is so curious...which is completely normal. Did we do the right thing telling him at this age? My husband took him out to breakfast this morning to see if he had any more questions. We just want him to be able to talk to us about anything.

I am concerned b/c my daughter doesn't like school this year and usually she loves school and is extremely excited about learning. Last year she made many new friends in kindergarten but in 1st grade the school has 2 classes. All of her friends are in the other class and she is taking it pretty hard. I am worried that she will lose her love of school and her drive to learn b/c she is so bummed about her friends. She is having to adjust to new people, uniforms, routines, and a full day of class. I don't want her to be discouraged. Has anyone been thorugh this? Any suggestions?

I have twin 2 yr olds (almost 3) and 11 month old. We use double stroller and baby bjorn to go out by myself but I think that 11 month old is too big and it might be easier to use a triple stroller. Any recommendations?

I'm 19 and a University Student, about to go into my second year. On Thursday I found out i am pregnant. At first I was sure I wanted to have an abortion but now I'm not sure. I'm too scared to tell my mother. My boyfriend is being very supportive. He's 25 with a full time job, but making little money! I don't know if we can afford a baby. We don't live together.

Has anyone been in this situation? Are Universities understanding and helpful?

I'm scared and do not know what to do. Who can I talk to??

Hi! I scheduled my ultrasound next month! I asked if I needed to drink water to "prepare" and I was told the doctor no longer requires a full bladder for the ultrasound - will this affect the image?

I'm 37 weeks today (my third baby), and yesterday morning my Dr. stripped my membranes. I'm having contractions on & off (but that's no change, I have been for 4+ months now, these are just a little stronger). So... since it's been almost 24 hours now, should I assume I'm one of the 2/3 it doesn't work for?

What makes parents think its sex ed, the media, openess to sexuaity, availability to contraception and morning after pills etc.

Lack of a morality system based on a witch burner 9ie caring doctor) or psycho stoning gay abusing cult.

Or sending out any form of 'message'

Ie them thinking condom machines in secondary/high school toilets is somehow saying its ok to have sex rubbish.

Is what influences teenagers to become sexual.

And not er...

* Nature,

* Hormones,

* Ability (ie your good looking, good at seduction/chatting up and getting offers as opposed to ugly and nurdy billy no mates let alone lovvers)

* Feelings Ie you fall in love.

* Need for affection

* The fact u fancy someone or not...

Etc

Or that teens and others are promiscuous not due to some morality thing but as they have the same feelings and needs and desire as someone in a couple but can't find a perfect soulmate so making productive use of the mean time whilst seaching for love

My wife and I were recently married. She began taking the pill about 3 months before we got married. We both were virgins upon being married. She has just come to the point in her pill regimine where she is supposed to have her period. She is still in the sugar pills, but has not begun or shown signs yet. We are freaking out about her being pregnant. Is it to early to worry?
