Rhythm. It's not 100%, but if a woman knows her body, she can avoid having sex at times of ovulation.
A woman ovulates APPROXIMATELY 14 days BEFORE her next period starts. It is called the luteal phase--DAY PASSED OVULATION. It is generally 12-16 days---14 days is average. And it HAS TO BE AT LEAST 10 to get pregnant. But, whatever it is, it is usually the same amount of days. The first part of a woman's cycle might have fluctuations---but the luteal phase is always the same. Here is a good definition: http://www.webwomb.com/luteal_phase_frame_page.htm
A lot of time, you hear people say you ovulate 14 days after your period. This is not true. To better explain...if a woman has a 28 day cycle---then YES--she ovulates on day 14. However, if a woman has a 24 day cycle, then she ovulates on day 10. With a 35 day cycle she would ovulate around day 21. Therefore, 14 days after a period---is not accurate and it could cause unwanted pregnancies to someone trying to avoid. Or cause a lot of fertility issues for someone who keeps missing the mark. If a woman has irregular cycles---(28 one month, 35 the next month, 45 another month) it is much harder to know the timing of ovulation--other than body temperature or increased vaginal secretions. Increased vaginal secretions are a good sign a woman is ovulation. Avoid sex then to avoid pregnancy.
The best thing to do is start charting your cycles--and see how regular you are. There are plenty of sites out there. I like this one: http://www.cyclespage.com/ Basic service is free. After a couple cycles, it will let you know how many days your cycles are, and APPROXIMATELY what days you are most fertile---in a window. Due to not knowing exactly how long your luteal phase is. Also, pull out---added measure.

I am seeing lots of people talking about the "rhythm" method. This method is almost as unreliable at preventing pregnancy as doing nothing at all. Many women do not recognize the signs of fertility. I know I didn't "know" when I was fertile until I studied about how my cycle worked, and what happens when.
The "Fertility Awareness Method" or Natural Family Planning (2 different methods based on similar principles) are different than the rhythm method, and have higher success rates.
I recommend the book Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler and use of a Basal Body Temperature thermometer for avoiding pregnancy without artificial hormones or uncomfortable barriers. The great thing about Fertility Awareness is that once you are ready to try to conceive, you already know how to tell which days are best for conception. Ovusoft makes a software program that goes along with the book, it makes it really easy to keep track of your cycle. I have used it for both avoiding pregnancy and trying to get pregnant.

Giving birth to a new life is indeed a blessing which almost every woman would wish to have. How to get pregnant naturally https://tr.im/preventinfertility
Enjoying the feeling of motherhood and raising a family would surely be a couple’s dream. Some get it naturally, while for some others things don’t seem to work as they desire. These reasons which stop a women from conceiving can be due to either physical reasons or truly physiological.

There isn't any method that you can due to not get pregnant. I mean you can pull out but thats not an affective method. Or not have sex during your ovulating cycle. But just as those methods that are 98% you can get pregnant either way. Unless you choose not to have sex with your spouse then I don't know what you can do.
Good Luck!

Well abstinence is certainly the best method ;) though for obvious reasons it ist practiced extensively.
There are 2 known methods. Both involve having intercourse on selected days.
1) Standard days method : where u abstain from the 4th to the 19th day (counting day 1 as the first day of your menstrual cycle).
2) Two day method: You check your underwear for any secretions. Then you answer 2 questions:
Ques 1: Is there any secretion today?
Ques 2: Was there any secretion yesterday?
If the answer to both the questions is NO, then you can go ahead. Otherwise use protection.
Other than that there are other forms of sex (oral for instance) in which there is no risk of pregnancy.
Hope this helps.

Stop having sex unless they want kids. Married people do abstain sometimes. And of course, tubals and vasectomies are wonderful ways to prevent pregnancy. More people should do that, once their family size is complete.
