Castor oil, but only works if you are near term. Don't recommend however, let baby come when baby is ready.

Well there are quite a few, some say they work others say they don't, however here are some. Scrub the floors on your hands and knees for hours, go for long walks, drink red raspberry leaf tea (lots) is supposed to help soften cervix, bunch of herb stuff but not sure if it is safe, oh and for some sex can be a major inducer. I personally drank that tea for 3 days, had sex and the next day I had a baby! The second one i drank the tea for a week. So does anything really work? Hard to say maybe your body just has to be ready but being 9 months pregnant women are usually willing to try anything, lol

lol. Aw.. I know how you feel. I hope it happens as soon as possible. -Not sex, but orgasms, can make your uterus contract.. BUT it does that through the entire pregnancy so maybe if there is enough pressure since you're so far along lol. -nipple stimulation. -Castor oil (yes it does work but it isn't pleasant)... activating your bowels is suppose to induce labor but please be careful. I did this with my second and it was not pleasant.. but it did work. -Blue and Black cohosh. -Move some furniture... I was stupid enough to do this at 35 weeks and my water broke that night. I always think I'm invincible when I'm pregnant.... like a dumbass lol. Whatever you do think smart... and good luck.. I know how much it sucks near the end.

If you drink caster oil it is nasty but it did send me in to labor with my son also my sister in law also used it successfully. There is a chance it wont work but hats only if your baby is not ready to come out and you should not use it unless you are almost to your due date or past it what it dose is flash out your body so you will be sick (puking from both ends) for4-6 hours after drinking it but if it works you will know in that time also cus your water will brake. It is 100% safe for both of you not that your Dr will want you to do it but you should tell him any way. Walking also helps I mean like a mile or s a day.

well these are some tryed and true ways.
1. walking for a few miles (i walked for 9 hours in walmart)(my cousin walked around the block twice)
2. bouncing on a ball (smaller the better) (i used a soccer ball)(my bestf used a basketball)
3. using a vibrator or having sex (doctor recomended to my cousin)
4. get down on your knees and scrub the kitchen floor (within 12 hours i had my 2nd son)
either i or one of my close friends and relitives have used each of these methods and went into labor.

be careful with this. Castor oil is one, but it will only work sometimes and can cause baby to have a bowel movement before birth which can be dangerous. Other ways are lots of walking and peppermint tea. Another really good way is having sex.sc

It is NEVER safe to try to induce labor yourself. Only your doctor or midwive should do this, because if your water breaks you can run the chance of an infection in the sac, possibly causing harm to your baby. And people that tell you to take a hot bath don't know, obviously that it can KILL the baby! When I was at the University of Washington Medical Center with my first pregnancy (Which, sadly, ended in miscarraige) the doctors and nurses there warned against using a hot bath or hot tub (Water temp should not be higher than your body temp). Raspberry tea leave, according to babycenter.com is not proven to bring on labor. It is safer to just let nature take it's course or, if you are over-due go to your doctor. Do not put your baby's life at risk!

Actually a proper massage from someone who actually knows the spot will know some spots around your ankles that can jumpstart you. It's some strange connection that the muscles down there have with your cervix.

Castor oil cocktail. Our doctor gave us a prescription for one when our first kid was two weeks overdue. The druggist mixed Castor oil with some ginger ale. That night my wife drank it , got cramps, and started to go into labor. Very successfully!
