He is doing it so much that he has a bald patch on the back of his head. He has very fine hair.

My daughter was the same, she seemed to toss her head from side to side while she was asleep and had a bald patch. She is now 10, perfectly healthy with a full head of hair. stop worrying.

Not really when a baby's head is in a certain spot all the time there will be a bald spot but it will grow back in...
I never had that problem, my kids didn't like being on their backs to sleep or play once they could hold their head up.

having a bald spot in the back is very normal at about this age. my daughter and son both got them and alot of other babies get them as well. our daughter got hers from looking out the window to either side over and over again, hehe.
anyway its normal behavior and the hair will grow back, no worries!
