Why is it that complete strangers think it is ok to come up and touch a womens stomach because she is pregnant? Just because a women is pregnant doesn't mean that her stomach is all of a sudden public property. Havent people ever heard of personal space? 9 times out of 10 they dont even ask. As far as I am concerned thats rude. If I don't know you don't touch me. Even if I do know you, if you are not my husband ask before you atomatically think it is ok to touch my stomach. On that note how come people just consider you and incubator when pregnant? It's always hows the baby? and is the baby moving? Again they go straight for the stomach and start talking to it. Hello I am the mother aknowledge me first then the stomach.please.....Any thoughts?

I have a very sweet 7 yr old son. He usually gets along well with other kids but he is a little bit quiet. I noticed that most of the boys his age are much bigger, much more aggressive, and he sometimes gets picked on. I don't think that there's ever anything very severe but he gets hurt very easily and the other boys see this so they pick on him even more. How can I help him to be able to stand up for himself. When boys have pushed him etc. I tell him he should push them back but he says he doesn't want to hurt anybody. He's a very loving child. I just don't want him to be a target. I can't confront parents everytime a little boy says a mean word to him or looks at him the wrong way but I need to teach him to stand up for himself. Any suggestions? He does play sports and that helps his confidence a little but need some more help.

My daughter is almost 9mts
always been a small fussy eater
The max she drank was 26oz till we introdced solids
Even with the milk it was a struggle to feed her that she took almost 45 mins for one feed and it took a lot of coaxing and singing to get her to have that
Weight gain has been ok, she's an avg size baby
Now she has about 16oz of formula, and three solid meals 4 to 5 oz each
I speak with other parents and they say that their kids the same age drink much more, plus have solids and desserts and snacks and juice
I have 12 hrs to feed my daughter whta I feed her, she never asks for food i give it to her every 2 to 2.5 hrs, she has 3 bottles or rather bowls of milk 5oz each, no drinking from the bottle anymore but from a bowl
I have to give her a lot of toys to feed her or pop a dvd in for her
Is her intake enough? The doc doesn't seem to be worried
But i hope i am feeding her enough, don;t think i can shuv more food into her

women who want them , have so much trouble? I'm not saying all, but doesn't it seem to any of you that the roles should be switched? Why not let the women who honestly deserve and want a baby get pregnant, and the ones who could care less and hate their children have the troubles? It's just not fair. To both the women and the babies

My sister is pregnant, and has decided on the names she is going to call the baby.
If its a boy, she'll call him Jaden Brice, or if she has a girl she'll call her Naomi Sofia.
The thing is, the proper pronunication of Naomi is Nay-omi, which she doesn't like. She wants it pronounced Nie-omi, so she has decided to spell it phonetically, and Nyomi seems to be the best way to spell it.
However, she doesn't like the way it looks spelt out. Are there any other ways you could spell it, and still have it pronounced Nyomi?

We have hundreds of baby clothes, some never worn, all great condition and good makes, 0-12 months
I can't be bothered doing the ebay thing and wondered if any mums or dads have ever sold their children's clothes
We thought about a car boot but could do with advice as we have never done anything like this before.
Thanks

My cute li'l cousin is 6 years old and is very rowdy and violent. He always kicks my nuts, wrestles, spits, headbutts, jumps on, throws hard things at me, insults, me and always beats me up whenever we baby sit him. And then he would easily cry on small things. But I'm usually ok with it since I know he is still young and is in that stage. But what really scared me is when we were at Costco and he was being his usual self and suddenly he turned to me seriously and said that "I like hurting people.. and I don't know why?".. his face was really serious, eyes were bulging, devilish look on his face, and he looked like the boy from omen. He scared the s h i t out of me that day. I thought he was possesed or something. I explained to him that it is wrong but he doesn't seem to listen and continues on doing it. Do you think my cousin is a making of a psycho serial killer or a masochistic person when he grows up or is it just normal for a young boy to be like that?
