My now 5 yr old had a very difficult time with formula when he was an infant. I had to try 6 different kinds. We ended up using Enfamil soy formula. I also used to use Mylicon drops to relieve some of his gas. Good Luck

Look at your local pharmacist there is a liquid for infants that is called Tummy Soothers. My son was and is so gassy that we buy two bottles at a time. This is better than the mylecon drops, because it does not cause constipation. An old wives tell is to wet your pinkie and dip it in baking soda and let the baby suck it, now I have never tried this one, but it might just do the trick.
Then, if these are not enough get your pediatrician to prescribe Levitron, it is good too.

I'm not sure about the formula but you can try Mylacon drops. You can find them in the baby isle at the drug store. You put the drops in the milk and it breaks down the air bubbles to help with gas. I've talked about it to the pediatrician and they recommended it as well. Fortunately my daughter didn't have a problem with gas so I bought it for nothing. Good luck!

just hold your baby face down on your arm and pat her back, that'll relieve some of the gas, also burp her two to 3 times at every feeding. Give her some gas drops also, they work well. Hang in there it gets better with time, give her a couple more weeks. If you're breastfeeding, cut back on the gassy foods, you know beans, some veggies.

I used Carnation Good Start for all 3 of my little ones and it is wonderful! It causes less gas and is pre-digested. That is the kicker...plus good ole Milicon (sp?) You can't over-dose them on that, and it really seems to help. As far as free samples, go to verybestbaby.com They sent me coupon-checks for $11.00 every month for a year. The can's of formula only cost about $8.00. I hope this helps!! Good luck!!

at five months i switched from enfamil to good start supreme with iron and DHA & ARA. it has helped a lot with gas(she hardly ever has gas) and spitting up. I would recommend using Playtex VentAire bottles. for the first five weeks after bring my daughter home she spit up tons and had gas a lot and was very uncomfortable, after we started using those bottles everything got better! i no longer have to use them, since she is older, but they were a lifesaver for us!

After feeding, be sure to burp her...well. Little babies are still developing their digestive systems. You can expect many more exiting adventures in diaper land to come!

I think talking to her pediatrician is the best idea. They can give you the best ideas, especially where she isn't very old. Hope all works out!
Take care,
