It's not uncommon. My problem is that I get hot and cold. One minute I'm cold, I get under the blanket and then I get hot.
My body temp has gone up since I've become pregnant.
I also get night sweats now, which I didn't get before.
It's all hormonal, just like menopause.

Most definitely. This is mostly because of your hormones flucuating dramatically during pregnancy. Spending time in a very hot room or taking a hot bath or shower can cause your blood vessels to dilate, lowering your blood pressure and making you woozy. If you feel dizzy when you get hot, avoid hot crowded places and wear clothing in layers so you can shed some as necessary. Take warm instead of hot showers or baths, and try to keep the bathroom cool.Drink water before, during, and after your walk to help regulate your core body temperature. The fetus cannot get rid of excessive heat, so avoid exercising in hot weather and keep your walking workout moderate. Consider mall walking as an alternative during hot weather.

Yes. I am normally a very cold person and get cold quick, but when I was pregnant I was boiling hot 24-7 it was hard because it was winter time and I was terrible hot so I would turn the temperture down but the husband would freeze (who was normally a warm person).

I have a friend who said that she "felt more womanly, sensuous, and sexual while pregnant... possibly because 'being pregnant' removed some of the 'fear' of getting pregnant," which she already was. It's probably a 'common" psychological phenomenon... just not for MY wife!

YES! You have a little heater inside of your body. When you deliver you will probably be cold almost immediately from the loss of the "heater".
