Yes you can. Twins aren't only possible through genetics. But twins only happen by chance. Good Luck!

properly in accordance the experts, basically fraternal twins run interior the relatives at a similar time as same twins do no longer. It has a tendency to be genetic for a woman to launch greater beneficial than one egg at a time that's what ends up in fraternal twins (if the two eggs are fertilized of direction). same twins are pronounced to be greater of a fluke. i'm uncertain how lots i think this via fact I surely have same twins and same twins do run interior the relatives. Their father's father (their grandfather) is an same twin and that i've got cousins who're same twins to boot. could be basically accident yet who's conscious.

Fraternal twins have a genetic element to them (you can inherit an increased tendency toward multiple ovulations.) Identical twins are basically a fluke of nature. Even if they don't run in your family, though, you still have a chance of having them, especially if you wait until you're older; women over 35 have an increased chance of bearing twins than younger women do.

Yes it is possible. You can also use fertility drugs if you want multiples. Think about this long and hard though. Twins are a LOT of work not to mention increased risks during pregnancy both to you and the babies. They sure are cute though.

normally twins have to run somewhere either on your side of the family or the baby's father if you can't have twins yourself you could always look into adopting some so they won't be split up there are alot of beautiful children that need adopted and of course if you wanted to give birth yourself once or twice you could do that as well

i believe that both fraternal and identical twins are genetic. my sister had frat. twins about 5 years ago and my sister-in-law had frat. twins last month. lots of twins in my family.
my question is...why do you want to have twins? they are SOOOOOOOOOOOO much work and a pretty risky birth.
if you really want to have twins, you should contact a obgyn specialist who deals with multiple births. many people who end up having fraternal twins have them because they were put on some sort of fertility drug and they release more than one egg at a time. my sister was not supposed to be able to have kids at all and she was undergoing treatment for endometriosis when she found out she was pregnant. kind of a miracle. my sister-in-law claims she was not on fertility medication, but nobody believes her. :) (we're kind of mean)
best of luck!!!

Anything is possible, but I had a friend that wanted twins or tripletts. She asked her doctor to put her on a very light dose of fertility pills and she had twins, all true. . . I promise. Good Luck!

You have no idea of what you are asking for! A single baby takes 18 hours of care a day, double that and you have 36 hours of care, too bad there are only 24 in a day. Unless you have excellent support you will be run ragged. Are you sure you don't want this just for the attention?

Yes you could have twins. It doesnt have to run in your family for you to have identical twins. I hear if you take fertility drugs it increases your chances of having twins, but that could just be for fraternal twins.

I don't really know much about this, so you might want to look this up, but I've heard that the probabilities of having twins is pretty high in females that have had fertility treatments.
