Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 August 2006

i already have a daughter and i am 37 weeks into the first pregnancy with my husband...he's been around since my first daughter was a year old but thats a lot different than being around a newborn. he's a USMC and shows it a lot in his parenting style and it aggravates my how hard he is on my 3yr old sometimes and when i say something to him he gets aggravated with me. Now with a new baby i'm afraid he is going to be even harder on her and he doesnt understand things like how fragile the baby is going to be at first. How do I approach him with this topic without seeming like i'm trying to overrun his parental status??

I want to know what the actual feelings are, like is there emotional changes, physical changes(besides the weight), and what are the actual feelings? i heard something about blood flowing more rapidly in your stomach or something like that... but i just wanted to know...so thanks.

A person who kills a pregnant woman, and also her unborn baby can be charged on two counts, but if that woman decides to abort her baby, she is charged with nothing, she is exercising a woman's right to choose. Isn't that a double standard?
An unborn baby can recognize its mother voice, be startled by loud noises, sense danger, suck its thumb, etc. The only differance is that it hasn't breathed air.
If it had no immune system and had to be born and then kept in a sterile environment, thats about the same as a baby being inside the womb, it's not breathing outside air, but then killing it would be murder.
We are living with a double standard in America, in the name of political correctness, and unfortunately, we are sacrificing human babys on that alter of political correctness.
Isn't it murder?
Abortion should only be allowed if it is necessary to save the mother's life.

My three year old son is always hurting my 14 month old baby. Whenever he walks past him he will hit him or push him over, my baby only has to look at him and he runs at him screams in his face then either pinches, bites, hits or kicks him. I dont know what to do to get him to stop doing this. Please dont say for me to smack my child. I believe thats abuse and would never harm my kids in any way

I went back to work a month ago after staying home since my children were born (they're 1 1/2 and 2 1/2). When I get home, all hell breaks loose. My girls will dump things on the floor, fight, throw toys, and will NOT listen! It's driving me insane. I love my kids more than anything and they have always been great kids. Is there anything I can do to stop this behavior?
