HHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want to have to much sympathy for her casue then she'll just start makin' things up casue she knows i'll go for it. And shes also being selfish sayin " at least my dad favors me more than josh and liz" ( her brother and sister) i feel so bad what should i do?

Be there for your friend on the hard times .. reason why she is saying that her father favors her more than josh and liz is because she's actually scared that she will endup not having neither her mother or the father .. be ready for more lies coming out of her as she continues to place more and more layers of protection that she will convince herself is the truth ..
However don't become a victim, As a friend you are there only to listen and comfort her .. i'm not saying lash out everytime she lies because she will just continue to make up more lies to cover those up .. just listen to what she has to say .. comfort her when she cries .. comfort her when she's sad .. pretend to believe her when she tells you a lie .. no seriously! do it .. eventually guilt will crumble the lies and she will apologize to you and thank you for being there for her ..
Just reading that you are there for your friend in these difficult times sets a very high bar for those who want to be there for their friends .. good luck and wishing for the best outcome in all this!

I am not sure of age, but it sound like a younger person simply by the quote that you have written.
I am not a doctor, but the only thing I can recommend is that you just be there and listen to her. Help her get out of the rut and focus on positive things. It sure will come to pass, just be there for her and do not talk negative about "josh and liz".

Well my parents divorced.Its hard. Lol some go through it harder than others. Just be sympathetic and if she lies just go with it. She will get over it soon enough. Welll tell u the truth i had a hard time with it. And i have 2 brother who treated me like hell through it going *you know dad hates you right* *thats why they split up*So hey i might just know what its like better than anyone else.Btw im only 11 and my parent divorced when i was 10 (im turning 12)

Let her know she can talk to you about it whenever she wants. But then after that don't keep mentioning it. Just act as normal, all she will want is things to take her mind off of it all, so don't talk about it to her all the time.

Just be there for her wen she needs you, and let her kno that your always there. Try to always hav a good time with her and be happy. If your sad and sympathetic all the time it'll make her sadder.
