HEY JAZZ!!!!!
YOU WIN THE SIXTY FOUR THOUSAND DOLLAR QUESTION !!!
I can't even BEGIN to tell you how bad it hurts!!!
My first one only weighed 3 1/2 pounds at birth. ( 2 1/2 months premature ), and I didn't think I was going to make it through THAT. ( No anesthetics due to him being so small, would've put him in more danger than he was in already.)
THEN.......I had my second one, who was almost 3 weeks LATE, weighing in at a little over 10 pounds, and with no anesthetics AGAIN, because I had gone into " false labor " several times, and on that particular trip, I expected to go home like all the previous times. But NOOOOOO ! He was " crowning ", which is exactly what it indicates, the top of his head was coming out whether I wanted it too or not. There was no time for drugs, just straight into the delivery room.
I'll tell you how bad it was, but beware, as a man, I don't know if you can handle it. I could feel my skin ripping !! OUCH !!!!!
Just try to imagine a ten pound bag of potato's coming out of such a small opening. ( Yes, we " dilate", but like I said 10 POUNDS !!! )
So, was that graphic enough for you to get a good visual there?
And to think, women go through it every day.
And so, I have to ask WHO IS THE STRONGER SEX ???
There is absolutely NO WAY a man could go through that !!!!
He'd give up his own life first ! LOL !!!
So, in answer to your question, yes, you are correct...delivery is painful.
You have a nice evening now, K ? Don't have any bad dreams !

Yeah I gotta say the contractions and the delivery smarts a bit. And I completely disagree with people who are always saying the pain goes away once you've got the baby, some people must just be lucky lol

I'd liken it to having a truck run over your lower stomach and then
backing up over your stomach and repeating this process for hours, sometimes days. Does that sound painful? It hurts so
much that you think you will lose your mind!
As soon as you hold the baby, though it's forgotten. Until, that is
you are in labor a second time. And then... you think--- why did I
do this again? Until you hold the second baby and then you forget.
Yea to all the Mom's out there!!!!! Guys couldn't do it.

Man, I have been told that there are two things that hurt as much as a pregnancy....a kidney stone passing and an impacted molar...I have had the molar and it's incredible the amount of pain! I never knew a human being could experience so much pain without having a coronary!

I just had my son 4 1/2 months ago and yes it hurt like hell. I cried wanted to stop and ended up having another c-section. Men are too much of babies and would NOT be able to handle this. God new what he was doing when he created woman stronger.

Actually, the delivery didn't hurt nearly as much as the labor. It feels like a steamroller running through your body from your ribs to your pelvis, over and over and over...

Delivery doesn't hurt, that's what drugs are for. It's the contractions that kill ya before they get those drugs in ya. But men, couldn't come close to handling it.

i couldnt begin to explain the pain to you. its not only the baby comming out but the contractions that hurt you r back and or lower stomach. if youve ever had a cramp where your hand freezes up imagine that only 10 times worse and it last fo 2 minutes then goes away for 30 secs and so on and so on for hours. hell yes it hurts you think they would offer drugs llike morphine or do things to paralize you if it didnt. if your girls pregnant just be there for her and if she pushes you away just understand and wait for her to beg you to hold her. good luck

maybe the worst pain I have ever experienced. I was in labor for 25 hours, contractions are very painful too. No amount of breathing or any kind of Lamaze or anything else helps. It's shear torture!

It's like pulling a watermelon through the eye of a small needle. It hurts like everything. Think of that the next time you tell your girlfriend "you would if you loved me"!
