I know I could never tell on myself. It was too hard to determine, because at times I didnt feel any pressure either. And the pain in your pelvis could even be from the added weight on your body.

The best advice I can give, although most of the time I hated other peoples opinion. Ask someone who doesnt see you all too often if it looks like your carrying low. Or post a pic of yourself on a message board and ask some other preggo ladies, try Americanbaby.com, they are great there.

Other than that, I think its too difficult to determine on your own, or at least in my case it was. And your gyno should be able to tell you if he feels the babies head during a check up.......

you are aproaching that time. you will know, believe me. when you start to feel a pain (you will know it when you feel it) that comes and goes, time how long in between. when my son was born, i started getting pains 20 minutes apart. (it isn't like they show on tv. -well maybe at the end) the 20 min. apart pains lasted from a Thursday night until Friday. I called the dr. and they said to wait until the pains are less than 5 min. apart. or unless my water broke. (you will know when this happens too!)

Try to relax and get as much rest as you can NOW, because once the baby comes, you will be busy for the next 18 or so years! Best wishes!
