It used to be in the evenings. Not always, but every other day or so. Now, for a couple of days, she has been crying a lot during the day. I don't know why. We just moved from Dallas to Houston. In Dallas we used to live with my mom and dad. Maybe she's unfamiliar with this environment? Or gets tired of seeing the same person over and over again? Or it might just be her belly is aching. I don't know. Anyone go through the same thing? I had a lot of help from my husband with her, but starting Monday, he'll be working 80 plus hours a week, so no help there. I get really frustrated easily and I'm a little nervous about handling her by myself.

My friend, who is 16, just sent me an IM and told me that she was raped last week. She said that on the last night of a church camp, she met a guy (who is 18). Apparently they went to his truck and started making out. She told me that up until that point, she was wanting to have sex with him, but she was still a virgin, and got scared. From what she tells me, she told the guy "no" and he ignored her. She said that she cried and kept telling him to stop, but he didn't stop. My question is, is this considered to be rape? She said that she is going to the doctor next week and see what they tell her. Oh, and apparently, he did not use protection. What should she do up to this point? Please help, I am 19, but I have never been in this situation and have no clue what to tell her. Any suggestions would help.

Our daughter is 5 months. She would ONLY sleep in her cradle swing. Dr said it was ok, but we knew she couldnt sleep in it forever. We slowly transitioned her to the point where she was ready for the crib. 1st night was bad-she finally went down after 5 hours & slept only 6 hours in the 24 hour day (13 is usual!)The next night it took 4 hours to get her to sleep & she awoke at 3am & did not want to go back to the crib. I didnt want to put her back in the swing, because I thought that would make the transition more confusing & harder & cause more tears in the long run. I knew that if I went in there and picked her up, she would be up for the rest of the day on 5 hrs sleep and she was already lethargic from being sleep deprived. I knew she needed to sleep so her little body wouldnt go through exhaustion. Going in and soothing makes her cry worse, so I couldnt. She cried for 30 min & slept-hasnt had a problem since. But I feel guilty for not answering her cries.Did I do the right thing?

Ill be 8 wks on Monday and some of my symptoms seem to be going away. I would like to know if this is normal at this point. I didn't have any symptoms with my son. At around 4 wks with this pregnancy I got tender sore breasts and around 6 wks I started getting morning sickness. Both of which I'm not really experiancing anymore. I also have some cramps, but have had them since 4 wks. I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and they said the baby is in the right place. The cramping today is more noticable. I'm very worried about miscarriage..and I'm not sure why. With my son I wasn't worried but then again the pregnancy was totally different with him. I'm also having dreams that I miscarry. Anyone have any advice or can offer any help?? Thanks!

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and due on October 31st! I haven't had any stretch marks yet and just wanted to see about how far along everyone was when they began to get them!! I moisturize EVERY DAY!! My 4 yr old boy is awful. I am so stressed out right now. He says things like "you ruined my life", "you're the worst mom ever", etc. His mouth is worse than most teens! (He doesn't swear though) He cannot control his anger and I don't know how to get someone so young on the right track. I don't know where he gets this from, no one in our family acts or talks like that. He hits me and his younger brother when he gets really worked up. Usually children are afraid of their dad's, not him. He's not scared of anything! He hits things, slams doors and screams til he's blue in the face. He does this everywhere, even in the grocery store. I am embarrassed to have anyone over to my house or go to the store. I have tried time outs, spanking, taking things away, making him do chores and more. Nothing stops him. When I brought it up to his doctor he blew me off so I can't get help there. Any advice would be SO appreciated! Thanks all!

I am 27 years old and desperately trying to become pregnant. My husband doesn't want to wait too long to have another child( he already has two). I went to the doctor because I thought I was infertile and thought maybe my functional megacolon was causing infertility. Dr says my mega colon doesn't have anything to do with fertility and that I should be able to conceive cause everything seems normal. I have been trying for years! Dr ran blood tests and everything and it all came back normal and I have never had an STD or anything. So how can I get pregnant fast? Desperate for answers with a high level of hope.

I will be 31 and my son will be 12 in a few months. Sometimes I would like to have somemore and sometimes when I think "I will be putting my son in 12th grade and one in kindergarden."
