No. Your father is abusing you. Tell him to wake up earlier if he wants to play with Mom without having you hear things. Dad needs a wake up call. Oh, by the way...I am a grandfather.

I am 14 too and my parents don't even know how late I stay up, half the time they don't even know where the heck I am. I mean they have their own life and with 5 kids there are alot of parties and they can't keep track of us all. We live right on the beach and there are to many people to worry about. I have alot of freedom at my house and on school nights I could stay up all night and they wouldn't care.... sometimes I miss half the school day b/c I sleep to late... It's kinda sad really but alot of people who live in San Fransisco do the same thing.... so no I don't think thats fair at all. Teenagers need freedom!!!!!!!

Try talking with your dad. My dad use to do the same thing about sending me to bed at 8:00, though he never threw anything at me to wake me up he use to bang on the door to my room, in a loud rattling way. I finally asked him one day if he loved me. When he said, He did. I ask him if he would consider treating me like I was his son and give me the opportunity to prove I could get up on my own and go to bed on my own. That worked until I over slept one time then we had to start over a few weeks later.

That's a pretty early bedtime but your parents do get to decide things like that. You might try talking to them about it, and showing more responsibility around the house.
Getting stuff thrown at you is pretty abusive. Is that how he STARTS to wake you up, or is this after 20 minutes of "get up" and you burrowing back down under the covers?
Best wishes and God bless.

well you are young, so maybe you can go to bed at 9pm or ask him if you can have quiet time in your room till 9pm. He likes you to get up early so you dont waste a perfectly good day. I go to bed at 11 and am up at 530 or 6am every day. He shouldnt throw things at you, maybe you can ask for an alarm clock
