Buy saline nose drops at the drug store and put a few drops in each nostril several time a day as needed. This is non-addictive (like regular nasal spray is) and will clear up her congestion and moisturize her nasal passages. Whatever you do, STAY AWAY from a bulbe syringe! Yes, I know the nurses use it to clean out the baby's nose and throat when they're first born, but they know what they're doing. Nasal membranes (especially dry/irritated ones on a young baby) are super sensitive, and can be damaged very easily if a person doesn't know how to use a bulb syringe properly. Plus, most of them, unless the mucous is right up front, around the opening of the nostril, won't reach the mucous that's congesting the baby anyway.

Also, buy a cool-mist humidifier for your baby's room.

It's part of her being 3 months old. You can GENTLY use a nasal aspirator and they make Ayr Baby Saline drops if you think she cannot breathe from the stuffiness. Otherwise, just live with it for a few weeks. If your home is too warm, it adds to the stuffiness.

My peditrician said to use a saline solution such as "ocean spray". You can spray a small amount into each nostril and then use the short bulb syringe (the one with the long spout is not for the nose). Plug one nostril when using the bulb syringe on the other. This is important to do as they get ear infections easily if stuffed up. good luck!

saline drops first, then suction. also a vaporizer really helps. my pedi also recommended to get rid of the cats (or any animals I had in the house), it was hard, but now my baby's nose is clear! Hope this helps

maybe a humidifier, i think my ped. told me to try that

i also remember seeing some saline drops for stuffy noses at wal mart they're pretty cheap then try to use the nasal aspirator (nose sucker) if neither one works try asking your peditrician/doctor they can offer more suggestions
