why is love so hard to find and when you do think you have found it , it never works out?

Personally i am a "nice guy" so I always get screwed in the end! I think it's that people get "comfortable" in a situation and then things fade..........IT CAN HAPPEN though so don't lose faith keep your head up and STOP LOOKING that's when it usally happens

Because we look at the wrong places. It depends on what u want from an individual. I've had many relationships & when I found it that it's true it never works out. There are many reasons as to why it doesn't work out. U find out what the other person really is & never what u thought. If there is no communication, understanding & give/take per se>>>it will never work out. Also both person need to love each other & if one doesn't there goes the relationship. The other person goes somewhere else. So just enjoy life & love will come.

Love lives in many places. The most important thing to remember is the harder you look for it the less you find. Love will find you, not the other way around. It's important to relax, and not be so worried about finding love that you make the mistake of labeling things that aren't love, love.

Its hard to find because it works on the pheromones/brain chemistry reaction...plus more. Biologically speaking pheromones are a way that animals (and humans) connect with others. The reason we are not attracted to family is because the human gene pool, via our noses, seeks people with a different immune system..so that offspring have a better survival rate.

Rate a guys/girls smell to be 1-6...6 being the horniest and 1 to be the stinkiest...ewww. Say we find their smells to be a 5-6. THEY also have to find our smells to be that too for an attraction to be created. THAT plus we have to like the way they look. Biologically again....we feel closer to people who look familiar (like family)....or like US. Not necessarily the same race but the same nose, smile, eyes of someone we already love or loved.

Then you have to have the same needs/wants/taste...not everything but SOME at least. Red flags...is a common word today but what does it mean? Same moral fibre...ie both monogamous or both swingers. Both addicts of some kind or not? Both wanting kids...or not? Both believe in God or not?

So you see...you have the smell thing going, after that comes looks/familiarity and after that the character comes in to play. How many guys/girls fit every bill AND are free to date? NOT very many...and the older you get the more that circle of eligible people closes in. Because for the truly happy/stable ones....they stay together for life and are no longer on the list.
