The Right can't ask the PRESS or the LEFT to do this because they'd say the Conservatives were manipulating the Iraqis!

Even though I've offered this suggestion many times in YA neither the Press, the Presidential canidates, nor the YA liberals have picked up on it. Being upset at Bush seems more important than offering up solutions.

Especially if you do not know all of the facts? They attacked George W. Bush's military record and the results turned out to be false! Then of course John Kerry was attacked with the swift boat ads. Why? Can we not do better than this? I mean Any man or woman who has served bravely in the military deserves some credit! John Kerry was a Vietnam vet! He has seen more combat than most of us may never see! And I don't know the entire detail on the "phony soldier" deal. But I am cautious when it comes to questioning someone's military record! I think if someone is gonna make such accusations; they better have the ammunition to back up their claim! If not, then its just gonna prove that neither the media, nor politicians can be trusted! This is the behavior you would expect to see from school children! Not grown men!

Now Republicans are patriots because the Pres. is a Republican. Democrats are being portrayed as traitors if they disagree with the President.

In '09 when we have a Democrat President and the Republicans disagree with the Pres. they will be unpatriotic and anti-American and the Democrats will be the true patriots......

Is this scenario working for you?

"Wait wait don't tell me" is supposed to be funny?

"All things considered" simply doesn't consider everything do they? Certainly not Conservative viewpoints.

Listening to NPR only makes you THINK you're smart and "informed."

Considering our dollar is at a weak point you would think tourists would want to flock to the USA to spend their Pounds, Euros and now Canadian dollars to stay at many of our fine resorts and cities. To the contrary though tourism in the USA has hit a snag since 9/11 and is continuing to get worse. Has our reputation been the reason for this?

and thinks it has legitimate reason to essentiall be what some would call a tyranny? Don't all those who torture, or spy without cause or oppress citizens, and put people in jail without trial for years think they have a special reason to "bend the rules of justice?

Is it not the hallmark of a true society that truly values freedoms and justice and inalienable rights of citizens, one that resists those "reasons to bend the rules"...knowing that no tyranny starts out full bore, but rather occurs in small sometimes even imperceptible increments?
