Hillary's health plan is going to cost each of us a slight bit more, and your on board with this?

Cost is of no consequence when it comes to necessity.

Im opposed to both, but would be open to a different healthcare plan--at least that money would stay here as opposed to the Iraq war where we're trying to prop up a country that wont help itself.

Why is it ok to dump money into a country to prop up a gov't that refuses to do anything and to help people that arent willing to fight to better their situation? That goes against everything we're hearing from Repubs these days.

By the way, that supposed $2000 is a good bit of money to most people. Its 10% of your annual pay if you make 10/hr, thats more than those same people pay in taxes.
___

Zuper--Im anti-illegal immigration, as are many other liberals, just not the high power ones. Bush and Reagan both were pro illegal immigration, as are most people in high power who are dependent on Big Business for money and influence. Maybe youre a bit confused?

Probably more than $2000, but let's say $2000. That's only so far. It will cost much more before we get out of there. And don't forget all the lives it's cost, both American and Iraqi.

And what have we accomplished? Is Iraq really free and democratic? I wouldn't say that. Iraq won't truly be free until they can ask the Americans to leave, and take control of their own national wealth. We've touched off a civil war there, and whoever wins this war, we lose.

Is the Middle East all stabilized now? I don't think so. I don't think we've improved the situation there at all!

We're stuck now. We can't make progress and we can't pull out. Eventually we will give up and back out, leaving Iraq worse than it was before. In the meanwhile we've pissed off all our allies, the partners we'd need to fight a -real- war against terrorism.

Americans back home pay $2000 a peice for the war? Interesting.

Military men and wemon also are tax payers, so they each pay the same amount. I have been to Iraq twice, I also have friends, buddys, guys who I fought with and beside on two seperate deployments; who have lost limbs for the war. Military men and women constantly go on patrols knowing every day they put their life on the lines. Until one day we may not return to base. I can't explain to anyone who hasn't experienced it.

If military men and women joined, knowing where they would be sent and the possiblility of loosing their lives... do you not think it was worth it to them? When will people see what they have here in America is a blessing?! When can people be thankful and appreiciate what they have, stop whining and complaining and enjoy their freedoms?

I would rather live with a dictator then get freed by the USA. The US always replace a large problem by one of giant proportions, much worst then it was at first ! But whatever the results, the united states always make sure its enterprises benefit, pumping all natural resources it finds on its way and leaving people free... free to starve to death. There is no way I would accept a fascist foreign government, run by the step-son of Adolf Hitler's financier Prescott Bush. As much as his grandfather helped Hitler when he was without a penny to start his fascist empire, not Bush and co are creating theirs. Stop believing US cheap propaganda. People like you are a result of a school education that prove to fail.

You would rather pay your money to help a country on the opposite side the world, yet you'll complain about your money going to help people here at home? What is wrong with you?

You should move to Iraq if you're that satisfied with the job the president has done.

I'd love a source for that statistic, John Boehner.

And no, it's not a small price. For $2,000 a person, I bet we could have fixed our infrastructure--remember that bridge collapse back in August?

Or we could make sure poor citizens whose jobs don't offer affordable insurance have access to health care.

Or we could fix some of the crumbling schools in this country.

Furthermore, when you factor in all the lives lost, it's a pretty damn big price.

How come all of you liberals whine and cry about the war in Iraq and take cheap shots at the Bush Administration. You come on here and say $2,000 is too much? Why not take some of the 16 Billion that ILLEGAL ALIENS send home every year and use that to pay for the war? Oh wait! We can't talk about illegals around you liberals can we?

How many Americans have lost thier lives in Iraq and Afghanistan? 3,812?

The Terrorists took that many innocent NON COMBATANTS out in a matter of minutes.

And how many innocent Americans have illegal aliens killed in gang fights, drunk driving accidents, murders, rapes and domestic violence? Way more than 3,812...

Make up your minds....if it was left up to you libs, it would be OK for every illegal alien to be in the United States without getting deported because everybody has the right to freedom, but you would have the U.S. millitary pull out of Iraq and let the innocent be murdered in the streets because of 3,812 American soldiers who have died...It is sad yes, but they are trained to fight and signed up for it.

Illegals kill indiscriminantly..they kill parents, grand parents, new borns, toddlers, school children, expecting mothers etc...etc... ALL INNOCENT US CITIZENS! Why not stand up and support a Border Wall and stand against Sancutary Cities? You can protect an unappreciative bottom feeder, but you can not protect innocent Iraqi children?

Man, you liberals are so stupid. You don't even know what to stand for anymore.

Go jump off a bridge!!

that money would have been better spent in afghanisthan finishing off al qaeda and the taliban there instead of having them re-organizing their game and recruiting more and more terrrorists because of Iraq - when are you going to wake up ? when there is another attack on US soil ? that is too late in my book -and although you feel patriotic today will you continue to feel that way if there is an attack on american soil again? your blindness to what would really make america secure is scary to say the least

No. $2000 is a lot of money to poor guy like me. And I get nothing out of the liberation of Iraq, except now bin Laden has the perfect terrorist training ground. His terrorist get valuable combat experience, and a chance to take out a couple American GI's, before sneaking into the US and pulling off their next big attack.
