What does communism have to do in India?How can communism and democracy go hand in hand?

Communism has done great contributions around the world especially in China but in India it is the reverse.Look at the states like Kerala and Bengal they r still the most backward states in India.

Voluntary communism does not happen. The wealthy must be killed and their resources distributed. The people must accept a very low standard of living across the boards while they never question the totalitarian's wealth. Dissenters must necessarily also be destroyed.

There is no incentive to compete or to produce quality goods.

I see no opportunity for Democratic principles, which encourage the power of the people.

Yes Kerela with their Hundred percent literacy rate are very backwards. If you have noticed India's economy has been growing at an extremely high rate due to its economic reforms that have created a very capitalistic cultre and more high paying jobs. Also China has many of the same problems that India has there are still many regions of china that are very backwards really the economic growth has been limited to the cities and much of Rural China is still backwards. remember China's GDP per Capita is still only 2000 dollars much lower than most middle income countries.

The question should not be about communism vs democracy but communism vs capitalism. Commnism has not done great things in China. China is only emerging from third world living conditions since they have begun making a lot of capitalistic reforms.

Communism is an oppressive system that ultimately does not work. Democracy generally embraces merit, which is stifled in Communism. Communist China has murdered millions of its own people who were educated or stood out in any way.
