I have to agree with you on this, and that the hysteria around barack is pathetic.
I said 9 months ago Barack would be the first black man rejected for the Presidency on merit and not on race, and apparently theres a segment of liberals who like him because its the "in" thing.
Pathetic.
He doesn't have enough expirience to have a background for making decisions.
Neither does Hillary, neither does Romney.
As far as I can tell its McCain and Rudy who have enough expirience with these kinds of things who are more than 5%

I'm not sure what your point is. Men have always been the leader role in the world. The fact that many times it is a woman who puts him there or for that matter directs his ways is inconsequentual to the fact that it is a male leader for the most part who leads. Now as to race, well that has to do with population. In the US the majority is caucasion, so naturally it has been a white face on those men. Will this change? yes, it will if there is a person who clearly has the leadership ability that will capture the attention of a majority of voters that will not consider the skin tone the most important factor. And why would you say that Obama is not black. Yes, he is mulato, he is of mixed race. But if one has to make a choice of which race in which he MUST be categorized, no geneticist would place in the caucasion category. He has more black factors in his DNA. So if we must, and I take it you insist we categorize people by a race, he is black. And hie appears to be a fine possibility for being a leader. However, I suspect he is more likely a cabinet post, or vice president candidate in this time than president.

I pray that the Dems run Barack! They have such a record of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. He is an inexperienced clown!

Actually, why don't we take care of two firsts and draft Condoleeza Rice for President? She has foreign policy down, no learning curve needed there.
And since to understand why a nation does what it does, you need to understand its domestic policy, she understands the US's domestic policies. Ergo, she would be perfect for the job.

GWB has had more people of color in high ranking positions in his administration than Bill "zipper" Clinton did. Check the facts you non-believers.

What? You seem to have that obsession. I'm just looking at the issues and basing it off of that, not the color of their skin. Obama is a front runner due to charisma particularly due to a powerful DNC speech.
