Since "Inconvenient Truth" ruled politcal and CNN Meterologist have problem with it.
Should we now start having a real debate than the shrill voice the world is doomed that has been going on?
Since Congress now wants to tax it should be a clue this was just another way to get into our pockets.

I caught the tail end of it on the radio yesterday. Someone fill me in. I cannot understand why someone running for the highest office in this country would not want to display a symbol of his allegiance...........

IOWA CITY - Presidential Candidate Barack Obama is trying to change political fashion. He gave a speech in Iowa City Wednesday and he wasn't wearing an American flag pin.

Obama says he doesn't like how the pin has come to represent patriotism in America.

The senator told TV-9, "I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest."

I'm not sure but I think I've heard on the news said ex-CIA reported to Bush that Hussein doesn't have any nuclear weapon before the war, but Bush proceeded anyway.
If that was true, how can you tell that news is reliable?

I have noticed on here there are always questions from BNP supporters saying 'Prove the BNP are racist' which is relatively easy.

Well this one is to BNP supporters - Prove the BNP isn't racist. I want proper evidence, links and everything, not just a mouthful of abuse

My question is based on the fact that Bush is killing to many innocent Iraqis.I don,t see much difference between him and Sadaam or Osama

The left blasted him for years by not having a one on one sit down w/ the N Korean President, unlike Clinton who gave him millions.

Looks like President Bush is right, perhaps we should ignore all leaders of tyranny, until they decide to change their minds.

(Oh and this is not an Iraq question... Okay, so if that is your response,,, please do not, stick to the topic)

Does a man who is unwilling to serve his country through military service really have the moral right to make the decisions to send real soldiers into war? Or even have the moral right to ask young men to serve their country through the military when he was unwilling to do so himself?

I'm talking about those healthy enough physically (if not morally) to have served in the military.

This is not a legal question, but a moral one being asked by an old fart who served.

Now, let the excuses and disclaimers begin !!!!!!!!!!

(You think it's time to bring back the draft? And this time with no special privilege deferments?)

With the foreign made cars we drive? The made in China American flags we wave? Or the made in Viet Nam Niki shoes that we wear?

Try this out for irony:

Doesn’t anyone here care that both China and Viet Nam are still communist countries and by buying their products we are helping to keep their form of government alive?

Are you supporting America or are you supporting and feeding the greed of a handful of Americans who are outsourcing our jobs and our future to other countries?

I'm not an Obama supporter and won't vote for him but maybe, just maybe, Obama has a point!

Do the Chinese-made plastic American flags that everybody flew starting 9/11/01, that are now lying tattered and bleached in the broken glass and oil and poison ivy by the side of every highway in the US offend you at all? I have seen scores of them in ditches, and more just barely hanging onto the cars of "patriots".

What do you say? Who is the more respectful?

I noticed that all these poor people that quit their evil Wal-Mart job and complain about the inability to pay for health insurance and hospital and doctor visits are the same people with iPods, expensive cellphones, satelite dish, 50" HD telivisions, Playstation 3, Blu-Ray players.

Why don't we socialize electronics? The government should open up a Best-Buy.
