Oh my. I can't believe how many of you "tolerant" liberals bash Rush for having a drug addiction. Shouldn't he be helped, and supported instead of smeared? Or does that only work with Hollywood movie stars and not conservative radio talk show hosts?

Honestly, I rarely listen to Limbaugh. Or talk radio at all. I'm just amazed at how many on the left are irked by this guy. To the point of frothing at the mouth. I don't know of any conservative that gets riled up By Alan Combes or Al Franken. We simply don't listen to them. But it seems the people who hate him most listen to him religously just to get ticked off. It's a study on human psycology and I just wonder why so many who claim to hate him, give him so much attention.

They've got to be doing head-spins in the dark after the circus they have created this time . .with themselves as the main attraction in the center ring : "Bring on the Clowns" ..Rush's broadcasts are easily replayed - so , how these people hoped to carry on a phony smear , shows what little regard they have for their constituents and those who simply "take their word for it" as gospel - when in fact it was all lies and smear . These same libs have barely blinked twice since their smear of General Petraeus as well as our troops since the War on Terror began..but all of a sudden "Rush Limbaugh did it".. It seems to be a tie between Sen. Harry Reid & Ken Salazar in the race for ignorance : Salazer wants to censure a private citizen now . Can Reid & Salazar be censured for being fools ?

I don't really know much about either one, I think Franken was on SNL back in the day, but what does popularity mean?
Just because someone is popular doesn't make them the best at something.
It's like saying since Idol is the most watched show, they must have the best singers, which is certainly not the case.

Sure Al Franken is a bore and looks like some sort of weasal. His voice is high pitched. Most in America would not relate. But interesting to listen to since it is not fact based.
I am conservative. But Limbaugh? Same thing going on. Fat, adulterer, drug addicted, etc. Who is really going to take him seriously. If he can't monitor himself how can he have an opinion for others? He's plugging along but he is a waste and an embaresment. Can't plug the core of family values can he?

A good red herring argument....now we're supposed to argue 'for' Al 'against' St. Rush. Sorry, bro, but you're going to have to deal with the real issues. Issues like the occupation of Iraq. A situation that 2/3 of the citizens of the US are oppose. I suppose that makes 2/3 of the US population 'liberals' and that they hate America....at least according to the right wing talk show bozos. What will it take to make the Bush Junta understand that this 'war' is dumb as a post no matter how many generals he trots out and forces to betray their country for their political masters. It's disgusting. Bush is now deep into his own private Fuehrerbunker as the allies close in and his place in history is going to very similar to Der Fuehrer's......pitiful!

Along with the concept of the free market which is what sent Air Anti America into BANKRUPTCY twice.
They also hate the fact that when it finally got to Limbaugh that he did in fact have a problem he went to rehab ONE TIME and dealt with it while all of their Hollywood Hero's use the revolving door clinics.

Based on the bashing on the boards here, it seems like Rush has almost as many faithful liberal listeners as he does conservatives -- since they are able to quote him daily, chapter and verse. Hey.. a listener is a listener in the ratings. A concept Air America could never quite grasp.
