There are a number of similarities between Buddhism and Christianity. I did an essay on the question during my Honours year at university.
The one thing I remember offhand, without looking at my old essays, was:
Jesus walked on water --- Buddha, during his teachings, descended into solid rock and rose out again.

Jesus was also believed to have arrived on a flying saucer, worked as a busboy in the Bronx, and invented the internet. Only nut cases, such as yourself and a few brainless morons that have computer access in their parents basement believe Jesus traveled to India.
"Was believed to" is not enough of a premise on which to base a question.

I doubt very seriously he traveled to India.
There is no evidence of it, but his Apostle Thomas may of went to India. There's a group of Christians that named themselves after Thomas.
Sadly, there's no evidence that Jesus existed!! There's was nothing written about him during his own lifetime. The Gospels, and Joesephus, came later.

Is that what Bush did? Lol...all this time I thought he was one of the Anti-Christs. Jesus was only interested in saving our souls, wherever he may have traveled.

it was a journey of learning. people far from our civilisations generally have a very different view of things and if openminded enough you can learn a lot from other cultures.
