IOWA CITY - Presidential Candidate Barack Obama is trying to change political fashion. He gave a speech in Iowa City Wednesday and he wasn't wearing an American flag pin.
Obama says he doesn't like how the pin has come to represent patriotism in America.
The senator told TV-9, "I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest."

He doesn't hate the flag he hates is misuse to symbolize those who espouse one point of view on our invasion of Iraq.
I can appreciate his position, during Viet Nam if you wore flag clothing you were abusing the flag, now they make flag shorts which I find most disrespectful.
