On that date April 12th 2003, al-Ghazali and his family sheltered in their house as a fierce street battle erupted in his neighborhood. In the midst of the fighting, he noticed that the Americans had called up an oddly configured tank. Then to his amazement the tank suddenly let loose a blinding stream of what seemed like fire and lightning, engulfing a large passenger bus and three automobiles. Within seconds the bus had become semi-molten, sagging "like a wet rag" as he put it. He said the bus rapidly melted under this withering blast, shrinking until it was a twisted blob about the dimensions of a VW bug. As if that were not bizarre enough,he explicitly describes seeing numerous human bodies shriveled to the size of newborn babies.Cox report that former USSR once was deeply involved in exploring high-powered electromagnetic weapons, but now Russia is no longer pursuing them. Other nations believed to be conducting research and arming these arsenals are China,Great Britain and France.

Good Morning!
After listening to Senators Reid and Harkin condemning Rush Limbaugh, it gave me pause to wonder..........
Is it the governments job to take a persons opinion, pick it apart and condemn it?
Is free speech in this another freedom in Jeopardy?

Now that the surge has been proven a success, was Blackwater the only logical thing to attack next?

Let me throw you a bone...Gitmo is still operating. Just thought I'd help you find another senseless issue to attack.

Is he just trying to snow everyone? I think he's just another Fidel Castro. Stubborn and refuses to be part of the world out of a grudge. Besides, all he has to do is build weapons then hold out his hand for us to pay him not to do so.

2007-10-02 22:04:00 · 8 answers · asked by Anonymous

are there others that he doesn't mention?

it's in the transcript... clearly plural... but then he defends it by saying it's only talking about one?

this if from the transcript:

"CALLER: No, it's not. And what's really funny is they never talk to real soldiers. They like to pull these soldiers that come up out of the blue and spout to the media.

RUSH: The phony soldiers.

CALLER: The phony soldiers. If you talk to any real soldier and they're proud to serve, they want to be over in Iraq, they understand their sacrifice and they're willing to sacrifice for the country.

RUSH: They joined to be in Iraq.

RUSH: It's frustrating and maddening, and why they must be kept in the minority. I want to thank you, Mike, for calling. I appreciate it very much."

how does that not mean that if you don't support the war... you're a phoney soldier? it goes on to talk about the "fake soldier"...but this section isn't about that?

I CLEARLY see later on he's only talking about one...

Hi,
I'm doing a politics essay, here is the question:
Can state lose the right to demand obedience from its citizens?

My answer is Yes, and I come up with 4 arguments, but I still need to find examples for theses argument (coz I'm not good at World History)

- State fails to meet its citizens economic and material needs.
My examples for this case are the case of East Europe and USSR. Is it OK? Anything else?

- State abuses human rights or threatens the lives of its citizens unjustly.
No examples yet

- Citizens have legitimate religious/ethical objections to obeying state laws.
No examples yet.

- Globalization, International organizations (TNC, MNO, NGO, UN… ) affections.
No examples yet.

Can u help me find examples for these above cases ?
Great thanks in advanced.

For the outside world, Israel's demand for the "right to exist" seems a natural enough request and easy enough words to say. However, most people have no idea of the real import of those words for the Palestinians. For them to accept the "right to exist", effectively means that they accept their own dispossession. That dispossession is still going on after 60 years and there are now some 6 million Palestinian refugees who are refused their right to return home or even a modicum of compensation. And, that is not counting the 4 million Palestinians under Israel's occupation who daily see more of their land taken from them while they are squeezed and contained in what remains, or the 1.5 million Palestinian citizens in Israel whose rights are being increasingly compromised and denied. As long as the Palestinians exist, Israel will always see them as an obstacle to its ultimate quest for an exclusively "Jewish state" in a greater Israel.

up.

I am not asking about whether you think abortion is right or wrong.

I am simply asking if what I heard is true.

Also because the answers of this question will be on both sides, could you tell me sources that back up your claim?

Thank you for your assistance.

10. America: One Nation, Under Surveillance.

11. They call Him "W" So He Can Spell It.

12. Whose God Do You Kill For?

13. No, Seriously, Why Did We Invade Iraq?

Do you think that the news would really let people know that this occurs? Do you think that people who created the "Patriot" act want you to know how it is being used against you?

Remember the border is WIDE OPEN! The patriot act has nothing to do with protecting anyone except protecting YOU from YOURSELF!

What is your opinion about hearing the police arresting people because of what they say? Remember there was NO profanity nor any reason given why they were arrested... they just were.
