I work hard and am very successful in my career. I make lots of money, more than I need as I am not materialistic, and don't mind being taxed higher in order to help my fellow humans. I think if everyone felt this way, the U.S. would be a wonderful country for all its citizens.

Was there ever a time where we weren't ruled by extremists on both sides? Why are there "sides" anyway?

With our current system, and our current polarizing administration, is there any way to get out of the cycle of liberals vs conservatives? Isn't this a destructive situation to live in where no one uses common sense, empathy, and compromise to resolve the topical issues?

With the current system it seems most people have chosen a side and are "for or against" everything already without taking the time to understand the issues. Why do people let a party affiliation rule their judgments?

EXCERPT FROM ARTICLE:
Thompson favors a constitutional amendment that bars judges from legalizing gay marriage, but also leaves open the door for state legislatures to approve the practice. He said social and religious conservatives who would prefer an amendment that also bars legislatures from legalizing gay marriage can live with his view.

Here come the ad hominem attacks against the asker, rather than a serious discussion about why our diplomacy is awful under this President.

We rarely see clearer evidence of you taking the marching orders from your Leftist elitists handlers and running with them.

This whole ordeal surrounding Rush Limbaugh is merely a moral equivalency game they are playing to draw attention away from the Moveon.org Betray-us debacle.

So, once again. How does it feel to be a tool?

Are you one who feels that if so-and-so is of a certain religion, then that alone makes him or her the qualified candidate? What other qualities do you look for in a candidate?

part of it's empire to be ruled over by the US & Israeli Govts?

-That would take care of Iran's nukes/radical mullahs

-Terrorists would be have to spend all of their time fighting US/Israel militaries in the muslim mideast (which is pretty much what they are doing right now)

-There wouldn't be any threat of a larger regional civil war in the Mideast between Sunnis & Shiites.

-And the Israeli military would essentially quadruple in size because of the permenant US military presence in Iraq.

This will be a tough one, as there are so many choices.
The ACLU as we all know is anti American, anti Christ and anti Family. Occasionally they will take a token case to try to gain some credibility as a positive organization.
Please list the most despicable case you feel, they've taken on.

as an Englishman who owns many major US based companies i feel i must ask this.
I am in the process of purchasing a major US based bed store chain(cannot be named) and i am conducting market research via this site.I have often heard the saying"got up on the wrong side of the bed"associated with Americans. Is this because of the way they sleep i.e hard mattress, flat pillows?

i see a lot of people in Y!A refer to this sentence :"Israel must be wiped out of the map" , Ahmadinejad says

I dont know how many times native speakers should tell you it was badly translated and its really annoying to see many peaple even proof that ahmadinejad is Terrorist by refering to this sentence !

His Exact Words was :"Israel bayad az sahneye rozegar hazf shavad"
every amatuer translater can say it means" israel must be vanished from the pages of time"totally diffirent from wiping it out

Im neither Ahmadinejad's Supporter nor a denier of iran-isreal conflict but im asking when you are condemning a president or a country use True Facts

please RETHINK or at least try not to use this reference anymore.

If I managed to convince you Star me so that more people see this fact and if not Just dont Report me

One of the big reasons Americans hate illegal immigrants is the fact that they come to the USA and steal social resources. They take jobs away from US citizens, which tends to keep wages low for lower income jobs. They strain the welfare system, more than 60% of the families on welfare are not US citizens. In short, illegals rob the wealth of the country.
In the middle-east, the USA buys the oil resources. In many countries in the middle east, these oil profits are horded by heads of state in personal bank accounts. The wealth of these countries does not educate the people, build infrastructure to develop commerce, build hospitals, or benefit the people in anyway.
When the oil is gone, these people will be left with dust, but their government officials will be living the high life.
Do you think it's possible, the basis for the hatred of America is the same as America's hatred of illegal immigrants?

The minimum wage varies by a factor of 1 to 4 between member states. Some argue that this is justified because of differing economic situations and stimulates Europe's economies. Others that it creates unfair competition between EU workers.

Would you be in favour of an EU-wide minimum wage? And what benefits or problems could such a policy bring?
