I would be outraged if someone said that to me about my husband on national TV. What a slap in the face to my morality and to the sanctity of marriage.
THIS COMMENT WAS NOT NORMAL yet it IS normal in liberal circles apparently or it would have been met with a stern rebuke by Speaker Pelosi.

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/sleuth/

Yes, Whoopi implicitly acknowledged, she'd like to do Mr. Pelosi - but she might take his wife while she's at it. "I would do her as well. But we should wait on that because you're still in office, I don't want to cause a problem."

Oh dear, would this were not live TV.

As you might expect, Speaker Pelosi remained silent underneath her signature permanent smile. And her press office later remained predictably mum on the specter of Whoopi-on-Speaker action.

The Europeans have had the European Union for some years now, & despite some initial objections it has worked out well for them & they seem to embrace it as a good thing. Will the same thing happen in the Americas? Why or why not?

Congressional Democrats have proposed an additional income tax to pay for the Iraq war they said they would end. Another money grab by liberals who use any excuse to take money from people who have the audacity to actually work for a living ?

genesis12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee:

12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

12:4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

12:5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

Did Petraeus really betray us (betray: to lead astray per Merriam-Webster dictionary) if he stamped his name on a White House report and called it his own?

[ Despite Bush's repeated statements that the report will reflect evaluations by Petraeus and Ryan Crocker, the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, administration officials said it would actually be written by the White House, with inputs from officials throughout the government. ]

Is the same thing that goes on here everyday the same reason our government cant get anything done? People criticize our politicians on here for playing the blame game and finger pointing and yet 9 out of 10 questions on here do the exact same thing.

Rush didn't say what Reid accused him of saying and Reid knows he is lying. Senator Reid should be ashamed of himself, but it appears that among liberals telling lies is a badge of honor. It reminds me of Clinton saying he didn't inhale or have sex with Monica. If honesty matters to any liberal please use this as a chance to chastise your Senate leader.

Is this not yet another attempt from the radical left to eradicate free speech?

Remember they tried to take down Michael Savage a few months ago, now they're out to crucify Rush Limbaugh for simply calling out someone who lies about their service. Did the main stream media not condemn a young woman for lying about her fiance dying in the WTC? Why's it OK for THEM and not Limbaugh?

It's only "hate speech" when you don't agree with it, isn't it libs? Or is it that you just need someone to crucify for your own backfired "ad?" Who are you going to try to shut down next?

Seriously, we ALL know people from this VERY SITE that pretend to have been in combat, won military honor awards, or served several enlistments in lands far far away. Even I've received emails from some lunatic that claimed to be an FBI agent, prior service, war veteran with a "DD213" (ROFL) calling me a "chickenhawk."

What's so bad about calling these people out for the fakes that they are?

I would say Fox is my favorite. My decision has nothing to do with politics. I just think that Fox is a fair and balanced network. And Fox news also covers topics that are unheard of in some other news networks. Thats just my opinion.

Michael Chertoff has defended building a gate on the Mexico border by saying:

"Illegal migrants really degrade the environment. I’ve seen pictures of human waste, garbage, discarded bottles and other human artifact in pristine areas," Chertoff said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press. "And believe me, that is the worst thing you can do to the environment."

There seems to be a lot more hatred, attacks, and childishness on this site coming from the Rep/Con side than Dem/Lib. This makes me wonder if there is something to worry about because it would make me assume that this is due to a lot more young(the next generation) people taking that side. Or, could this just be that Dem/Libs are more mature and less obnoxious? I enjoy a little mudslinging every now and then myself but that is not my only way of debating a topic.
