And your outrage has lead to protesting this as well?

Or are we just outraged when it suits us?
The founder of that website has put up a billboard stating,
"Life is short, have an affair".
And you didn't watch the show, did you? Apprently not.

Thank you such much for such a long and hearty (needed) laugh. Whoopi is great, I just made it a point to see who is on the View...
You really have to feel sorry for poor Mr. Pelosi for being "the husband of house speaker nancy pelosi", does he have a first name? (is he allowed too, or does it entail consequences?) God, imagine being with mrs speaker P for forty two-42-year's (really sorry if you get nightmares tonight!).

Shows the values the left that runs hollyweird and the drive by media have allowed these shows to sink to. Whoppie belongs in a X rated comedy club not on a day time talk show.

I gon't know, it's just sad what some people conside humor. I don't see anything humorous about it. Lets just say that, instead of Nancy Pelosi, it was Jacqueline Kennedy (going back to the early sixties). Would that be funny? OK, let's move forward. Let's say it was 1998 and someone said that to Hillary Clinton. Would that have been funny?
No, it would not have been and it isn't now. It's rude. I don't like Pelosi much but I wouldn't be that rude to her. My mother tought me better. Too bad Whoopie's didn't bother.

Look on the bright side. This hag could give Freddy Crueger nightmares. She's lucky to have found 1, never mind 2 people on the planet who would sleep with her!

Yes it is these days. People are starting to open up and express them self a little more about sex. there are nothing immoral about that. If we open up Little more and except sex and marriage for what it really is, divorce would go down. Some people feel the need to be in the spot light so they talk about there private life out in the open.

I'm as conservative as it gets - but this was a joke (albeit a bad one). Why is anyone surprized that Whoopi would make such a comment ?
Its a joke - get over it move on.
I am FAR more concerned with Ms. Pelosi's voting record and stance on many social, financial, and national sercurity issues.
I find THAT to be much more disturbing !!!!
How else was her camp supposed to react? Whoopi is KNOWN for things like this - hell her name is a slang term for sex !!!!
If Pelosi herself or via her handlers would have made a big deal out of it - then you'd be on here posting about how the "liberals can't tell the diference between reality and a joke".
Your grasping at straws and there are MUCH more important issues to concentrate on ....... Choose your battle more wisely next time lest you not aid your own cause !

But Rush calling Army Rangers in Baghdad who support withdrawing US troops from Iraq "phony soldiers", THAT you have no problem with?
Wow your concept of "Free Speech" seems to begin and end with anyone on the right, no one else allowed. Perhaps you should move to a country more in keeping with that attitude.... oops, sorry, there IS no more Soviet Union, too bad.
It's truly horrifying to think that someone as leftwing as Whoopi Goldberg is not PC enough for the likes of you.
"yes, Whoopi IMPLICITLY acknowledged" this means she IMPLIED it, she was nondirect about her joke, she IMPLIED it. She was not EXPLICIT, so exactly WHAT were outraged about? And do you spend ALL your time adding to the ratings of programs featuring your sworn enemies? And were you offended by what she implied? If so, then you were offended by what you yourself THOUGHT not anything she said, and how can you be offended you thought of yourself? Are you in the habit of offending yourself regularly?

I'm liberal and all my friends are liberals and none of us talk about having 3 ways with eachothers husbands. But there are many conservatives in Orange Country California (the breeding ground and hot bed of Conservativism in the country) who are big time swingers.
Do all conservatives watch the View and actually give a crap what they talk about? Is this really news RLP or does this fall under the topic of Gossip on your part? and, you being a Christian, as you have professed being, knows darn well that gossip is a sin. BTW, RLP, I'm sure the show was in jest and it falls under mindless humor. Whoopi is a comedian you know. Get over it. IT's a non-issue.
BTW, RLP, you have a sex hangup. How do I know this? All your questions on Yahoo answers are about sexual morality. First with Gays now with 3 ways. Are you bored in your sex life or something? That's the message you're sending RLP, I'm just telling you like I see it. BTW, your false sense of sympathy for Pelosi is obvious since you've done nothing but bash her in the past.

If you actually watched The View today, and not read what the Washington Post wrote, you would see that Whoopi didn't start that; Barbara Walters did.
Whoopi went along with it because it was a JOKE. It was a JOKE. Apparently, Conservatives don't know what that is.
