Justin Case (below) At least you are attempting to be honest when compared to the others. Your version of the truth is closer than the rest, yet still has some english (spin) on it.

You posted the wrong link. Here's the correct one of the specific phony soldier that Rush referred to as his example.

While you are at it, you can go to the mediamatters.org link of the Rush transcript and actually read it, and point out to me where he supposedly insults our troops. Please do and feel free to email me the exact quote, because I read the thing twice and still can't find it.

100 dead in a month - and that's with the surge "working".

What's great about Limbaugh is that in his comment he disparages the antiwar left for not respecting a soldier for having a Purple Heart and yet he and the Smearboaters spent large amounts of time and money trashing John Kerry's purple heart.

But that is not more absurd than Limbaugh being shocked, SHOCKED that someone is distorting the truth.

This is all meaningless though. It's one group of media heads attacking another group of media heads. While people pay attention to that they ignore the real problem going on in Iraq and elsewhere.

Real swift. Did your lib friends think that one up for you? The "phony soldiers" Rush alluded to were the several men who have come forward to voice opposition to the war OR speak up about atrocities they committed in Iraq. Upon further investigation, several of these guys were either never in the military or never stationed in Iraq/Afghanistan. Same old trick as the left used in Vietnam. You guys never learn...

He was talking about one soldier who was in the army for 40 or 45 days and then was discharged , He had been making claims that he had served in Iraq and had been involved in committing atrocities against the Iraqi people.

Fact is, there are thousands of 'phony soldiers' nationwide; the problem is so great that Congress passed legislation to crack down on the epidemic. Jesse MacBeth is just the tip of the iceberg.

Stop the slander and seek truth He was talking about this lib

Trouble is, none of MacBeth's claims was true. He made it through only six weeks of Army basic training, was never a Ranger and never set foot in Iraq.

uh, the phony soldiers that Rush was talking about wouln't be there because they weren't even in the military. Sorry you haven't taken the time to hear the real story but you really make yourself look silly when you're so uninformed.

Because democrats will find one soldier (a fine specimen like Kerry), who disagrees with the war, and then tell everybody that 75% of soldiers disagree with the war.

Any one of them who disagrees with the war.

According to Militarytimes.com that's well over 65%.
