I do find it interesting how Limbaugh is condemned for the "phony soldiers" line, but Senators who have equated our soldiers to terrorists and Nazis are ignored. I don't like Limbaugh, but I hate hypocrisy.

Rush and GW Bush share what many others do, public opinion and its modification of fact. If you like someone they can be wrong but still credible. If you dislike someone, no matter how correct they may be, their answer won't matter. Rush makes good points often but then undermines himself by his hyper inflated ego. The mark of greatness in anyone is to admit when they were wrong in such a way others can learn from it. To err is after all, human. I don't care what party one sides with or whether ones more liberal or conservative. Fact is fact whether the messenger is popular or not. Democrats also have their radio personalities to bash Republicans. Todays media should be taken as an amusement medium and changing the channel is always an option. I do miss the Rush of old back when Clinton was in office. Limbaugh isn't as much a teacher or problem solver as he is just another presenter of issues. What the listener researches on their own and determines as their best answer is the exercise. The problem today is most don't research anything and beleive whatever they hear or see on tv. Then someone presents well researched material contrary and they get labled according to the viewers pre determined mindset.

Look, I listen to Limbaugh, A good American I might add. And he condemned this soldier and his ilk! So, yes, he did say, after referring to that scumbag MacBeth, spoke of other "soldiers" like him. Sure, you libs know what he was talking about through hearsay,
or one follow up transcript of his show. It only proves the narrow mindedness of those who rebuke his statements.
I am so glad I would never have to go to court to have one of you judge me on hearsay! Thank goodness hearsay isn't allowed in a court of law. I stand by what I said about "Dingy" Harry Reid and Tom"Thumb sucker" Harkin. They also speak before knowing the facts!
No wonder Conservatives get so angry!

Rush never qualified that he was speaking of the man who was sentenced. In fact he was very ambiguous. Read your own links and you can see why the big mouth is in trouble:
"Limbaugh's comments in question came last Wednesday when he and a caller were discussing critics of the Iraq war:
"What's really funny is, they [Iraq war critics] never talk to real soldiers," the caller said. "They like to pull these soldiers that come up out of the blue and talk to the media."
"The phony soldiers," Limbaugh then said.
Rush also said this but not recently:
"The next time somebody says you can't think for yourself, here's what you tell them ..."

Economists agree that the unemployment fee is a lagging indicator of monetary overall performance. meaning unemployment is going up after the financial gadget is going down and would not strengthen until the financial gadget is already on its thank you to strengthen. At 7.2% and it replaced into starting to be on the top of the Bush term - Republican's had already killed the financial gadget, we are only now suffering the outcomes. enable's additionally factor out that Republican's inherited a sturdy financial gadget, the deficits have been declining, and the unemployment fee replaced into under 5% whilst Clinton left the White dwelling house.

These people always end up stepping in it. This entire thing is a manufactured non-story designed to lambaste Rush, who was taken out of context. Once again, Rush is Right.
I would like to add that I've been mad at Rush lately; he slams the Philadelphia Eagles WAY too much, d@mn Steelers fan that he is. Football is where I part ways with Rush.

You obviously haven;t heard the actual broadcast. Limbaugh made it clear that he was talking about more than one individual soldier. As with the Moveon ad I'm not crazy about members of congress wasting time on this sort of nonsense. However to say that Rush was talking about A soldier and only ONE soldier, as the righties have been doing, is a flat out lie.

Rush was generalizing that All of the troops that are anti war are phoneys. As he does with all Americans that are against this war.
Face it ---he is a hate monger, that depises American freedom of speech. he was so befuddled over the caller being correct on his points, he let his real hateful self become exposed.
read the transcript
he was busy going off on a fellow republican that doesn't approve of this war, then another caller called and he said what he said.
