IRAQ.

2. TO ESTABLISH MILITARY

I don't see any people clamoring for more illegal immigrants to come to the US. These elected officials are not doing what the majority wants. Is this correct?

I'm serious, everyone is saying we went to Iraq for and such and I'm not saying thats not the case in fact I have no clue why we are there at all.
But if it is about oil then where is it? I mean we have been there 6 years and gas prices are still at an all time high and the $ value is going down at a slow but steady pace. Shouldn't we be having an economic boom if we have all that oil? I'm no expert on how they gather and process oil but I'm pretty damn sure it takes less than 6 years to do so.

(9) Since March 1996, Iraq has systematically sought to deny weapons inspectors from the United Nations Special Commission on Iraq (UNSCOM) access to key facilities and documents, has on several occasions endangered the safe operation of UNSCOM helicopters transporting UNSCOM personnel in Iraq, and has persisted in a pattern of deception and concealment regarding the history of its weapons of mass destruction programs.

(10) On August 5, 1998, Iraq ceased all cooperation with UNSCOM, and subsequently threatened to end long-term monitoring activities by the International Atomic Energy Agency and UNSCOM.
