We have stronger defenses and better awareness than we had with the previous administration. The war on terror is taken more seriously than ever. Further steps need to be implemented. We need to further secure our borders, both north and south, and have the national ID cards with finger prints. This way we will know who the enemy is if he were to come within our borders. We have intercepted many plots before they could happen and we have shown that we are willing to fight back. We've made it extremely difficult for them to carry out any operations in America successfully. But they have also changed their strategies. They are not really trying to attack in America any more. They are concentrating on discrediting America. And every time we over react to a vague unspecified threat, they succeed. As long as they keep the violence going in Iraq, they succeed.
