I can't make up my mind.

...Or do you think she knew damn well it was wrong but supported it anyway because it was popular at the time? I think its the latter, simply because from what I've seen, Hillary is a slave to the opinion polls. She is a woman obsessed by her ambitions and achieving the presidency, and will therefore do anything and say anything in order to maintain high approval ratings. The alternative is that she was dumb enough to be duped by an even dumber president, something thousands of Americans weren't four years ago. I don't think Hillary is dumb. That makes her immoral, a person who would sacrifice American lives in order to realize her ambitions. Is this really a person you want in the Oval Office? Sure, she has experience, but what about character?

Murderers or just doing their job?

Do we need to keep a closer eye on private contractors or would that be too difficult and get in the way?

If people say we cannot "police the world" how is it that the very same people justify the massive influx of illegal immigrans from Mexico and other countries. They justify it as saying it is our duty as a rich nation to help impoverished nations... I'm not a neo-con so nobody please use that word it's such a stupid word. I'm a libertarian who believes in ending the Iraq war and securing our borders. If someone says we can't police the world, at least be consistent?

Bush is willing to compromise on the difference in the increase he wants for S-chip and what congress wants. But, congress isn't talking to him. Instead, the Democrats are all over the newsw about how Bush is an uncaring SOB who don't give a hoot about children's health.
All Bush wants to do is knock off all the adults on S-chip and put them on Medicaid.
What is the problem with that?

Global warming is a serious issue which finally is getting the respect it deserves. My question is though, will it be enough? Will we as a civilization finally be able to make the hard decisions and do the right thing?

just tricking voters that normally wouldn't vote for them to win elections.
Examples, like religion, flag burning, against gays, political correctness, Texas tough guy military talk, ( bring em on, dead or alive, mission accomplished ) less government, even sending you $300.00 tax rebate if you elect them,( remember 2000 election) These prostitutes are for the rich, I don't mean 100k couples who are being tricked into voting for them, I mean mega rich. But hay, its your reality, pick your poison.

so she lied. So Bush lied. well at least she wasn't responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of US troops and nearly a million INNOCENT Iraqis.

so just hush and stop making a big deal about nothing. ALL of these athletes lie and all of them are doping.
They certainly have a great role model.
President George W. Bush!

Or is this one of those "personal responsibility" issues where the smart consumer relies on their own bacterial cultures before eating instead of that nanny-state USDA?

""2005 "Risk based Inspections": ""Far from a minor adjustment intended to maximize food safety, this plan is really being used as a way to reduce the USDA’s budget. The changes in the way inspectors are assigned to meat and poultry plants would make current inspector shortages permanent, effectively shrinking the size of the agency’s frontline inspection workforce.""

Please- no angry anti-socialists comments... I'm very interested in seeing what "good" things people have to say about socialism.

If you're a socialist, or kind of like one.... can you share with me WHY you are all for a socialistic society? Do you know someone in the lower class or on welfare, and have something to say about why socialism would be good for them....AND everybody else? (the rich and the poor)? Id like to hear your opinions... thanks

I am suggesting that we let our voices be heard and start a grass root campaign calling for all Americans to vote all the Washington incumbents out of office in 2008. The republicans are crooks and the democrats have not listened nor are they likely too....so....let's try some new fresh blood in Washington. What do you say?
