You've got to be friggin' kidding! For years Republicans and their mouthpieces in the media have used more and more outrageous rhetoric on Democrats. Any Ann Coulter column has more insulting stuff than 'General Betray Us'. Rush Limbaugh says worse things every day!
This is just another example of neo-con double standard. There are a whole list of 'crimes' that are only wrong when Democrats do them. Were you outraged when Republican senators said Al Gore claimed to have 'invented' the Internet? Were you outraged at the Swift Boat Liars smears against John Kerry? Or the outrageously irresponsible charges that Bill Clinton committed murder, treason, drug-dealing and rape--charges repeated over and over long after they were discredited?
Why do you all of the sudden get outraged when someone on the left does what the right has done so well and expertly for so long?

I am deeply offended that this administration has so politicized the military, that they would assign Paetreus to give this political report to Congress then edit it before it is given. Yes the General did betray us, the US Army, and his immediate superiors in the chain-of-command.

Not as many as claim to be. The people who are genuinely offended, particularly military and vets, should be equally offended by the comments made by Limbaugh. So far I've not seen the same level of outrage. He and his buddies, the other right wing talkers, have been trying to claim that he was only talking about one soldier. Listening to the whole audio (not the truncated version from his web site) makes it clear he is talking about all military who disagree with the war in Iraq. So my question is, why the selective outrage?

The truth about a politician in a military uniform shouldn't offend anyone. I think it's unconstitutional for it to be taken down. Where have we gone in this country? Tapping phones, holding people without trial, torturing people, politicizing the justice department, stealing elections... How about we all be offend by that and stop crying about an Ad?

What part of America did you originate from, Sir Troll? The version that seeks to be like Myammar?
The type that CAN'T question its government or military?

Everyone that consider themselves a decent citizen and not Socialist\/Communist. I remember when those types were considered enemies around here. Must have been the drug culture that took over the government. You know how THC becomes part of the braincell and affects thinking.

You know, I haven't been able to get a good night's sleep from it ever since. My hands are shaking from it still. And just when I thought I recovered from Janet's wardrobe malfunction back in 2004.
When will the traumatizing ever stop? Oh the humanity!

I am not. Let people express themselves. If they feel like he betrayed America, then that's their beliefs. Everyone's feelings and opinions are valid. There is nothing to get offended over.
