Not much considering the Legislative Branch has most of the power in government. Stop obsessing over the Presidential candidates and start obsessing over the Congressional candidates.

If ANY republican becomes president you can bet that what we have now is what we'll have then. If you're a corporation or already well off, everything will be okay for you. If you're a wage-earner you'll see your standard of living retrograde and your worry index move more and more into the red zone. The GOP, even under Eisenhower, Nixon and Ford, wasn't exactly the best friend wage-earners ever had....and I still like Ike, but ever since Reagan fell in with bad company the movers and shakers of the GOP have totally abandon wage-earners in favor of the corporations and the already well off. Even some of the Jesus freaks are now measuring 'Jesus' against their falling economic situation. The GOP has been sheltered by right wing radio propaganda, waving flags and a rising stock market....but really.....has right wing radio helped you pay your bills? Have waving flags reduced the national debt that YOU will have to deal with? Has the rising stock market lowered the cost of health insurance, groceries, education, energy or housing? Nope! Results count. The reactionaries of the GOP had their shot and all anyone in the shrinking middle class and lower got out of it was a war and higher bills for essentials. Rudy is just one more of these bums.....only a moron or a ditto-head would vote for him because all you'll get is the same bunch of right wing bozos that put us into this mess!

What's in it for you? A President whose last name is not Clinton or Bush, for a change. They have run things for 28 years... time to give another family a chance.
I don't know if Rudy is the best for the job. I just know we should be looking for the candidate who is best for our country.

Why is America now screaming "what's in it for me".
Remember these words? Ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country.
