are there others that he doesn't mention?
it's in the transcript... clearly plural... but then he defends it by saying it's only talking about one?
this if from the transcript:
"CALLER: No, it's not. And what's really funny is they never talk to real soldiers. They like to pull these soldiers that come up out of the blue and spout to the media.
RUSH: The phony soldiers.
CALLER: The phony soldiers. If you talk to any real soldier and they're proud to serve, they want to be over in Iraq, they understand their sacrifice and they're willing to sacrifice for the country.
RUSH: They joined to be in Iraq.
RUSH: It's frustrating and maddening, and why they must be kept in the minority. I want to thank you, Mike, for calling. I appreciate it very much."
how does that not mean that if you don't support the war... you're a phoney soldier? it goes on to talk about the "fake soldier"...but this section isn't about that?
I CLEARLY see later on he's only talking about one...

EDIT: he holds people accountable for their words... ESPECIALLY when they say something wrong...
I let it slide for most people, but when you don't let others slide ever... why should I extend you that courtesy?

Because Rush is a phony "patriot." Sowing seeds of hatred and suspicion isn't exactly the patriotic thing to do. Maybe he was jonesing for some Oxy...

The caller uses the plural twice first.
"CALLER: No, it's not. And what's really funny is they never talk to real soldierS. They like to pull these soldierS that come up out of the blue and spout to the media.
RUSH: The phony soldiers.
It's like if some ****** says a bunch of crap to the media that's not true and then later on a couple people are talking about what the ****** did and so they might be referring to him all like "if it wasn't for these *******" etc-etc even though it was one guy. That happens all the time on earth, lol.
:D
But there have also been more phonies out there than just whats his dink mcfartface, lmao.

Why do not you attempting examining the full tale approximately what handed off? there grow to be a guy arrested the different day for defrauding human beings with the help of posing as a soldier purely back from Iraq. He had by no ability been interior the protection rigidity - Rush have been discussing this guy, the priority replaced yet he nevertheless referred back to the "phony soldier" - in case you examine the transcripts there is little question that he grow to be referencing a prior tirade. Secondly, the business enterprise that synthetic the pills that RL grew to grow to be addicted to lost a lawsuit because of the fact they have been so exceptionally addictive and the business enterprise did not warn human beings.

OK lets get this straight, The Looney left is all worked up about something that you really have to look at HARD to find the "unpatriotic " angle when allow me to roughly quote some of our pinko cousins
1.Kerry = says our troops terrorize women and children in the "dead of night"& said our troops burned villages in a way "reminiscent of Genghis Kahn" during the Vietnam war! NOT TO MENTION his whole “You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.” so called "botched joke!
2.Baraka Hussein Obama = says our troops "air raid" innocent civilians!
Hillary C#&ton = says General Patraeus is a liar by using the clintonese term "suspension of disbelief"
Not to mention all the other liberals that say the "war is lost" ECT and all the Move on camp can do is dwell on the letter S? PATHETIC! THEIR statements are OBVIOUS.
Unlike Rush saying soldierS when he was talking about ALL the phony soldiers the "unbiased" media chooses to interview.
Rush, who has a long history of supporting the military, Would be very out of character to say something bashing the troops.
However ALL the liberals like Hillary, Baraka Hussien Obama, Kerry, Gore, Kennedy and on and on would be right in character by saying what they are quoted in saying, Just look at their voting record. But I digest.

it is a typical tool of speakers to keep from seeming to target one individual. Many do it in speeches, the us plural or cut the direction down. Like they may mean Brittney Spears but say " the current barbie doll song singers" it sounds less direct and so less of a legal directive. Take a speaking class and you will be taught this as well.

Uuuh, any soldier who joined the army for the express purpose of fighting in Iraq is either an uninformed idiot or has a secret agenda of his own and should not therefore be in the armed forces!
Our army does not exist to fight the personal and private wars of any individual. If the president, this one or the next one, woke up one morning and decided to recall the army from Iraq and if Congress backed him and passed legislation to that effect that would be the end of that soldier's reason for being in the army.
What would he do? Go to his immediate superior and say ¨Sir,since I joined to fight in Iraq and we aren't in Iraq anymore then I don't want to be in this army anymore?¨ ha!ha!ha! ...any soldiers reading this can tell you the reception THAT would get!
How can that sub-cretin Rush say that soldiers have joined the armed forces to fight in Iraq? Our soldiers can not pick and choose their wars -the government does that.

Wow.. it's like you think he is running for President or something. You are so desperate to discredit the guy that you are making a fool out of yourself. I am SURE you have never said anything that has been taken out of context. I am SURE you never put your foot in your mouth by saying something that you didn't mean to say. You give Rush way too much power with this stupidity. He is a radio personality not a politician. Get a grip.

You are the example of what liberals do, find any reason to bash conservatives. Your whole statement is irrelevant. I listened to the broadcast. There is absolutely nothing there to bash Mr. Limbaugh with. You are now down to the letter "s."
Mr. Limbaugh, unlike the left wing liberal loonies who are doing all of the bitching, has a long track record of supporting the military. I will match his record against yours or any other left wing liberal loony in Congress, when it comes to supporting the military.
