Hi,
I'm doing a politics essay, here is the question:
Can state lose the right to demand obedience from its citizens?

My answer is Yes, and I come up with 4 arguments, but I still need to find examples for theses argument (coz I'm not good at World History)

- State fails to meet its citizens economic and material needs.
My examples for this case are the case of East Europe and USSR. Is it OK? Anything else?

- State abuses human rights or threatens the lives of its citizens unjustly.
No examples yet

- Citizens have legitimate religious/ethical objections to obeying state laws.
No examples yet.

- Globalization, International organizations (TNC, MNO, NGO, UN… ) affections.
No examples yet.

Can u help me find examples for these above cases ?
Great thanks in advanced.

Example of abuses against human rights - State orders arrest of citizens with valid reasons such as suspicion of rebellion only.

Example of citizens to have legitimate religious objections - The state cannot make laws to impose prayers in classes.

Example of globalization - Elimination of tariff duties by member countries on the importation of the same products.

In international laws, one example is the European
Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg which condemns
country-states when they fail to apply the European
Human rights charter against an individual (he/she
can complain to that Court).

This is because the 47 country-states in question
signed that charter as a condition to be a member
of the Council of Europe (*)
(*) not to be confused with the European Union,
which has only 27 member-countries but which
Parliament is also located in Strasbourg
.

extremely than breaking any discrimination rules, intercourse in public places (if seen) breaks the generic public Order Act! And now the hearth brigade are being stated as out (so the noise is obviously stressful somebody) - what a waste of public funds!
