That's something I don't understand.... Why don't they say some other things? Like his shoe size.....

When I see a headline, I've never seen "Christian Terrorist"
Nor have I seen "Buddhist Terrorist"

What's the deal here?

Let me give you a situation.

How would you explain that to someone who's been raised around muslims and sees them as good, peace loving people.

Most terrorists are Muslim. In case you haven't heard, we are in a war with Islamic jihadist terrorists.

Muslims who are terrorists commit their violent acts in the name of their "religion". If someone happens to be a Christian and he commits an act of terrorism, it is very rarely in the name of Christianity and is promptly condemned by real Christians.

Edit: CFB said it best. Right on!!!

If all terrorist were Muslim it wouldn't be necessary, but in fact there are many other groups that engage in terrorist activities, but they rarely make headlines in the US. If the group can be associated with a region or country, that is the label that is used, for example Chechen, Saudi, PLO, shining path, or IRA. Right now the US is the target for a variety of groups from Muslim countries, and reporters often do not know any other details about them. From the answers here I would agree it is giving young people who are ignorant of history the wrong impression about the nature of terrorism. I have seen old headlines referring to "Jewish Terrorist " when they were conducting attacks on the British in the 1940's.

I've been watching this for most of my 53 years and remember way back to when Yasser Arafat was an active terrorist.
I am also a history buff. My grandfather whom served in WW 1 and watched WW2, Korea, Vietnam and countless brush wars as they were forced upon us taught me to be very aware of what was really going on around me.

Now I told you all of that so perhaps somebody out there might possibly understand that I mean this from the bottom of my heart.

Just exactly when did Muslims become the religion of peace.
Do you possibly mean peaceful as the grave they wish to put anyone whom dares to disagree with them into.
The Koran as explained by the prophet Mohamed only leaves 3 ways to deal with non Muslims.
1
They may be CONVERTED to ISLAM.
2
If we cannot be converted then we may be ENSLAVED.
3
If we cannot be enslaved then we must be KILLED.
this from their Koran.

News flash None of these appeal to me.

This is the religion whose mullahs go around pronouncing fatwas on other people and countries.

Remember Salomone Rushdie.

Or perhaps something more current like some cartoons in a Danish newspaper that went unnoticed until some of there Mullahs started really pushing it several WEEKS after the actual publish date.
Recall the pictures of thousands of these PEACEFUL Muslims rioting in the streets beating people to DEATH and BURNING cars in the street.

All this while calling Judism a GUTTER RELIGION and calling for the absolute destruction of Isreal and all JEWS.
That ones been tried before.

I am so sick of people P-----G all over me and telling me its just spring rain.

Now look to Palestine when the Isreals pulled out and there were only good ole Muslims there they started killing each other.

Maybe you would prefer to look at the secterian violence in Iraq and Afghanistan where they have to curtail their own religious festivals because of the differnt sects murdering each other in the dozens at a time.

Sure they get to kill a few outsiders like American servicemen and women who are there to try and help to rebuild the place.

Oh no don't even think about tring that infidel invader crap.
After those same infidels pushed the TYRANT SADDAM out of another Muslim country ,KUWAIT, we allowed Saddam a provisional cease fire based on unfettered IAEA and UN inspections, which he commenced to violate almost immedeatly.

And this is the religion of PEACE.

Not all muslims are terrorists, but nearly all terrorists are muslim. Maybe this is can explain the headline.

Like it or not, this is the politically incorrect truth.

Even the parents of a cold blooded murderer still love their child, the cold blooded murderer. They may be peace loving as long as you adhere to the strict sharia laws, but if you break them, you usually die. Besides, I didn't say all muslims were terrorists or that they weren't peace loving.

Because Muslims have been creating terror all over the world. Lebanon, Darfur, Palestine, Ethiopia, Chechyna, the Philippines, Indonesia, Uighurs .... It's a problem this world faces. Why do some want to deny that?

Because all Muslim are terrorist. Every time a terrorist kills someone 10 time out of 10 they are Muslims the ones during the killing

Media is just as guilty as anyone else in validating injustices. I would much prefer the term 'islamist' as that's the official term for those who want a political state based on Hadith and Sharia.
