The President lies about everything! Including torturing people- and how dare he violate the Geneva Accords and Jesus. Did you actually read this question before you posted it you loon? Did you ever think that the people who got into prisons such as Guantanamo Bay don't deserve to be roughed up a bit? Oh, and I can guess that you're one of the people who was outraged when we found out that torture included playing the Red Hot Chili Peppers at loud volumes? And besides, Bush isn't the first President to have lied about serious matters. What about Mr. Clinton lying under oath? Lying about how he "tried so hard to get Bin Laden"? Lying about Whitewater? And what does Jesus Christ have to do with all of this? Enjoy the Kool Aid.

I find it quite interesting that people really believe that torture tactics are not necessary in times of war. I personally have a gentle soul and the thought of torturing someone makes my heart hurt...but as an intelligent person you have to know in this day and age that when you are dealing with enemies who have no regard for human life, who would kill your family right in front of you with no remorse...that torture can and will be used to extract information that the US needs for national security. It's reality.

Well, do YOU think water boarding is torture? Would it be torture if it was performed on an American soldier?

You will never believe anything he says, but don't expect a lot of other people to be equally as closed minded. Most people outgrow their adolescent denial of reality in matters that are too complicated for them. It's the easiest of arguments because it requires no thought.

He didn't lie about WMDs. He had nothing to do with Florida stopping Al Gore's attempts to steal their electoral votes and he can consult with whomever he pleases. I don't know if he is lying about whether we torture prisoners or not......
