It seems there are a lot more people doing that then there are gay people who want to get married. Which one is hurting us more?

Muhammad murdered tens of thousands of people. He led unprovoked raids of pure plunder and massacre on villages that refused to recognize him as a prophet. His followers would kill the men, keep the women they liked, and sell the rest of the women and the children into slavery. Muhammad was part Blackbeard part Charles Manson.

This is a matter of historical record - none of this is deniable.

Why is it offensive to state it?

Why is it a Yahoo Answers violation to state it?

What does the fact that he founded a religion have to do with it? If John Wayne Gacy had founded a religion, would it be offensive to call him a serial killer?

I saw the interview Diane Sawyer did with the president of Iran. He told her that her questions were inappropriate because a woman should not ask questions about serious issues of government, but about family, children, etc.

let's say you still live at home with your folks and have a job and it's a pain in the tail. you have to go to bed and get up earlier than you want and fight the rush hour traffic every morning only to arrive at your miserable job that you have to put 8-10 hrs a day at and your reward from your bosses is to be constantly b1tched out about your mistakes.

your brother, however, doesn't do anything. he parties all night, sleeps all day and makes no effort to better himself or his situation. when you get your paycheck, your parents cash it at the bank and give half your earnings to your brother.

There are many unanswered questions. A great wrong was committed. A huge crime. Justice demands that we show beyond a reasonable doubt what happened and who was involved at every level. I don't know exactly what happened, but I think we should want to know. But why are those who believe the gov't version sooo adamant that that version must be accepted? That anyone who doesn't is crazy. Why are they soo anxious to go along with the official account. They offer little evidence and no proof to convince me that the planes alone caused the collapse of the WTC towers while others, dozens of reasonable, sober, relevant professions, offer evidence to the contrary. The gov't offers no proof that an airliner hit the Pentagon....but something did.

Lots of liberals blame things like high crime and lack of father's in inner city communities on racism, a lack of money and things of that nature.

So I ask, do these things make one say "hey, i am broke and I have five kids that I can't even feed. Let me joing a gang, kill a bunch of people and disrespect everyone I come acrosss?"

Why do we tolerate these sordid behavior from people just because they are underprivileged.

Isn't that exactly what some people are saying about the people in the way of hurricanes? That they don't "prepare" or "remove themselves" because they expect Federal bailout?

I don't . Never have and never will . I think it's a false sense of entitlement . I will of course address a medical doctor as 'doctor' but no one else . Simply because some people have PhD's does not mean they should be elevated or given any more respect than their fellow man .

I think about this from time to time and just saw someone refer to Ron Paul as 'Dr. Ron Paul' . Pffft . Means nothing . What does mean something is a man's standards and beliefs . His morals and convictions regardless of academic achievement within a university .
I find that teachers abuse this or expect this more often than others who have achieved a PhD .
This is nothing more than elitism , imo .

BTW , My screen-name is a combination of a couple of jokes and reality . I'd never expect or ask anyone to refer to me as 'Doctor' .

are the poor in america responsible for their poverty?
among whites, there are a lot of young people who claim to not care about money and call the people "greedy" for wanting a comfortable life. they dress in colorful clothes and claim to be "rebels" of society(hippies). theyre mostly artists or drug addicts. but when they find themselves with no college degree and no job, they expect the government to pay for everything.
among blacks you have drug dealers and people who think the rich somehow "stole" from them something that was never theirs, yet they get welfare(which you can call "reparations"). not to mention the hip-hop culture of shooting people and calling women "b*tches" and "hoes".
a lot of them just don't want to work or have unrealistic expectations from life. and when things start to suck they victimize themselves and always want government(tax-payers) to bail them out. if immigrants like myself can make money here, so can they.

Funny how everyone that screams 'but... but... clinton thought saddam had WMD's too' and 'but.. but.. democrats voted to allow dubya to invade iraq' seem to forget that clinton never invaded iraq, and that the democrats who voted to allow dubya to invade iraq were duped?

The fact is - Dubya was wrong. And so was anyone else who overstated saddams weapons programs.

Now nearly 4000 american soldiers are dead, tens of thousands are injured, hundreds of thousands of iraqis are dead, injured, and displaced, and we've spent nearly 1/2 trillion dollars.

For what?
