All of the PDBs to Bush, and all of the info Rice had (hundreds of pages) saying al-qeada was going to hijack planes, still did not spur the government into action to at least try and prevent 9/11. Now there is a new document saying Al-qeada is planning a series of attacks against America, and just yesterday Chertoff said there was no indication of any threat to America. Bush better not screw this up like he did Iraq.........

"A Time to Lead" is a time for America to lead. That is the intention of the title. Certainly we are having a leadership crisis. We have an administration that has lost all sense of strategic purpose in the Mideast. I am very concerned that we have lost the foundation of America's worldwide power and influence. It has been squandered."

"The most important element of power is not the military. After World War II and through the end of the 20th century, we had a legitimacy that magnified our military strength and economic strength. We weren't like other powers. We weren't after an empire. We didn't torture. What we've lost is our legitimacy. It's time for every American to be a leader. "

We are sick and tired of supporting this war, and our broken health care system, and the general stupidity and passivity of our American brothers... But we have no idea where to go! Can you help us? We would prefer somewhere that isn't freezing cold, but of course things like national health care and good schools are more important than the silly weather.

Thank you!

My opinion is that if someone makes an error in judgement it doesn't make them look strong by standing behind it when the facts prove them wrong. Things change and people need to adapt. The facts they were presented with in the first place may have changed. I believe the best leaders have that ability to adapt. It's not "waffling" it's just common sense.

This is a politically neutral question. I am not bashing one party or the other because they both do it.

To please read the following, give it plenty of time to sink in(all the possibilities) and then tell me what it means to you .

Unfortunately I do not know how to post a link , but I have plenty enough for you to do a very simple search .

I just read a post by a site that's called -- MEM RI - Middle East Media Research Institute . It was in their 'Special Dispatch Series , #1508 , and dated March 20th , 2007 .
That post describes the terrorists game plan on how to infiltrate American-frequented websites and cleverly disguise Anti-American propaganda as coming from a real American . It was copied from the terrorist's own writings and I'm telling ya that after reading what they teach them , I'm very happy I did . A REAL EYE-OPENER !!
Don't think YOU could be fooled ? . . . Think Again !!

Go read it and tell me what you learned . Thank you .

BTW , credit should be given to 'tinker thinker' , because I first read it on her 360 .

The southern bible states have the highest rates of abortion in the country, yet they also tend to be the most conservative states in the country. Why is this? It seems to me that if todays conservatives are opposed to abortion, the rates would be lowest in the bible belt states, and highest in the liberal states. With the exception of California, all of the highest states are in the south and south east or are a traditionally conservative state. Why is this?

Every time someone asks question here, some liberals come on board trying to answer the question intelligently, but most other liberals come on here to spew their hatred of Bush, religion, conservatives, and even of the United States.

I will not site examples because I really do not want to embarrass people. I just want to know why liberals are so full of hate. Do they really believe all that hate-speech? Are they really that unhappy with their lives? I just want to know.

It's common knowledge that women are emotional beings. A woman is more likely to make a decision based on how she feels whereas a man's decision is based on cognition. Also, in regard to problem solving, men focus more on figuring out a solution and women rather talk things out.

How would a woman president deal with other countries that don't respect women? Some countries look at women as the weaker being and believe that a woman's place in life is to be domesticated. Just by this example alone, I believe women will face many challenging obstacles as president. My question is, do you think that women are mentally and emotionally strong enough to run the country?

The Republicans are using Religiosity as a distraction as they continue to build their Oligarchy. The Democrats are pandering to fringe groups, all the while working on building a socialist state. And both major American political parties are conditioning the American people to the idea of a one-world government. So, who is left to represent the interests of people who reject these ideas?
