If people want to smoke, knowing that it is hazardous to their health, what right do we have to force them to stop? As long as it is legal there is nothing anyone can do.

The tobacco (and arms and petrol and chemical and biotech and other evil) corporations don't belong to conservatives necessarily; they belong to capitalists. So perhaps you should rephrase your question.
