Every time someone asks question here, some liberals come on board trying to answer the question intelligently, but most other liberals come on here to spew their hatred of Bush, religion, conservatives, and even of the United States.

I will not site examples because I really do not want to embarrass people. I just want to know why liberals are so full of hate. Do they really believe all that hate-speech? Are they really that unhappy with their lives? I just want to know.

I knew it wouldn't take long for a liberal to start with the hatred. Thanks TD!

Hey Josh, this country was founded on moral values. Homosexuality, whether I agree with it or not, is not based in moral values. This country and the conservatives in general would rather not have war with anyone. However, when asked to preserve our nation and our way of life and all other options have been tried, war is the final alternative. And finally, you better look again. It is Muslims that openly call for the death of all non-Muslim people. If they are not tolerant of others, they do not need to exist.

Just as the "liberal", (as ordinarily called) state that "ALL conservatives this... or ALL conservatives that..." - anyone conservative or liberal can plainly see that there are threads of thought, negative or positive, that occur to any and all human beings. If a person is of some base intelligence and has some human decency about them, they would be selective in how they express themselves - using more concern in how they come across to an audience. If the intent is to reach the person listening to affect change - the wiser move would be to speak kindly, not hatefully. I personally like Theodore Roosevelt's claim to, "speak softly and carry a big stick". lol

Sometimes it can be pointless to debate on broad issues alone; I believe that we should be quite specific about what we choose to discuss, debate, non-emotionally argue about. What is disconcerting to me is that a great number of liberals that have strong opinions about how our President is doing his job or what the current state of politics is (that exists) - they do not support ANYTHING. It seems as though they only want to tear things down, never building upon anything but the destruction of what they disagree with.

And you are correct in your statement about spewing hate. Why not come up with SOLUTIONS... or support when things go well - which amazingly, not everything in our country is as awful as some would like to believe (or complain about).

If everyone in the United States - liberal or conservative, would take a good strong look at their own personal life they would probably find this:

1) The right to vote and speak freely
2) The ability to live in a country where gainful employment and education can be attained
3) The freedom to practice religion or no religion
4) The ability to start over - in any area of personal life; whether politically, socially, vocationally, religiously, etc.....

We as people in the Year 2007, should be grateful to not only our forefathers, for their fight to obtain one of the best systems of government in the history of the world (as we know it) but also because we always have the opportunity to bring changes to our government.

If you are not part of the solution - YOU are part of the problem. And complaining (or just spewing hate as you stated) is not necessarily a solution.

that would be the usual suspects like Usama, it's because they don't know what they are talking about so they use insults and unfortunantly some people take those more seriously than fact anymore. Then like you said there are others that don't do that at all, on both sides. I have heard more from the liberals but again not all, of them, before one of them gets all mad and says I'm lumping them together.

I do find it amuzing how the liberals repsonded with hateful messages, some were just wrong like Dems picking up the pieces wasn't it Nixon that got us out of Vietnam??

Henry the VII is right, except, that most of the Dems I know try to force their views, like the professors I had in college did the same thing even graded accordingly. One of them even used it as an example that I wouldn't rebutt him because he hands out the grades. So I think the view forcing is more on the liberal side, but once again I'm not saying both sides don't do it.

I watched as liberals pronounced the main vile issues some president and his family individuals during the Bush years. Even while we've been attacked on 9-11, liberals made it a political difficulty and a few even placed out the thought Bush have been in the back of the attack. not something that has been carried out to Obama suits that style of habit.

Liberals? ... What I find most amusing, is when someone throws a label on another person, ignoring both the meaning of the word and the fact that the person being labeled doesn't agree.

When people can make up whatever meaning they want for the words and labels they throw around, those words become meaningless. Which devolves the entire conversation to mindless shouting.

Are you ready for a shock?

According to the well respected Pew Research Institute, "Some 45% of all Republicans report being very happy, compared with just 30% of Democrats".

Here is my explanation for the huge difference: Conservatives are focused thinkers. They carefully research issues and form a clear picture of what is going on. From a lifetime of gathering and assimilating knowledge, they form a coherent philosophy. They aren't confused.

In contrast, Liberals tend to be about as disciplined as hippies. They jump blithely from one "feel good" idea to the next without any rhyme or reason. I have met raving Liberals who reminded me of babies in a crib: lashing out at a big, confusing world they neither understand nor feel they can control.

Liberals become so full of hate because, on some level, they realize that nothing makes sense to them. Therefore, they blindly rage at Conservatives who bedevil and frustrate them with their obvious understanding of the world around them.

Keep in mind that huge chasm of a gap: 30% - 45%. Maybe if Liberals stopped being so hot headed they'd feel better about themselves. Liberals act like unruly mobs. They demonstrate in the streets to purposely block traffic and inconvenience everyone, they burn flags, spit at police, shout obscenities, and create mayhem. Have you EVER heard of Conservatives acting in such an abominable manner?

Conservatives are like the well-mannered, considerate tennis fans at Wimbledon. Liberals are like the dirty, shirtless soccer hooligans in Wembly. Let's face it, there is a huge difference in how these two groups behave and think.

You address about 3 different things here. I am a liberal. I don't hate my country and no liberal on these boards has expressed hatred for the U.S. But we have a right to criticize anyone who is ruining this country. Bush is ruining this country. He's dragging it down the wrong road and we're tired of it and so is the American people. As far as religion is concerned, I criticize people who claim they are Christian but are nothing but charletons who are for war, bombing innocent men, women and children, blaming women for 9/11, blaming liberals and gays for 9/11 and blaming them for adhering to the founding principles of this country that was based on the liberal principles of the enlightenment. This isn't Christian behaviour from them. This is hate speech. I find these people to be dangerous, to be philistines, to be anti-democratic and to be anti- American. In other words, they advocate a theocracy and not democracy. They are determined to convert this country into a theocracy. This is their words, not mine.
BTW, I've heard nothing but hate speech from the right for over 20 years from Falwell (a southern racist) who helped get Reagan elected to Robertson, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and Fox. I'm sick of it. If you can't handle liberals, environmentalists and people who want peace and freedom fighting back in a critical and verbal way, get out of the kitchen.

I consider myself a liberal, and I'm not full of hate. I welcome any and all questions, but so many questions are nothing more than bait rather than legitimate questions.

It's the same when liberals ask a question. These Yahoo Answers are not representative of liberals or conservatives. They are from extremists or people just trying to get a rise out of you. And it works.

I guess we have to take the good from the bad and hope that we can learn from all points of view.

Of course ALL cons. are angelic and would NEVER think of hating anyone. I mean look at their supporters like Ann Coulter, Ruch Limbauch, Sean Hannity and the like. Perfect angels, right?

Cons absolutely adore the Clintons and I see that in their hateless messages all the time on this board.

Cons often mistake dissent and difference of opinion for hate but they are misguided and misinformed. But no one hates them for it. One may feel sorry for them but not hate them. This lack of understanding comes from their fervent belief in Fascist ideals and that one should always walk in lockstep with fearless leader. Questioning authority is unacceptable to them. Of course everyone else knows how democracy thrives on dissent and difference of opinion and our founders even stated so.

There are those who shove their religion and the flag in one's face some how thinking that it makes everyone know they are patriotic and anyone who does not isn't. One who is secure in their beliefs does not need to shove it in other people's faces.

Peace and love as we celebrate our Nations Birthday.

Wow I'm guilty of this...but this is the political room and politics is the most civil form of confrontation the way the Athenians planned it with debate fair or unfair. In the Tradition of Alexander Hamliton and Arron Burr. So if you can't take the heat better step out of the boiler room...this is where the big dogs play and the small dogs should stay on the porch.

Oh, look who got best answer on that one! Funny that he answered this question himself, yet feels the need to re-ask it.

It's called the BIG LIE, folks. Repeat it often enough and it becomes fact.
