Because those 74% overexaggerate their opinion of Bush to the point of childishness. No President has ever been "evil incarnate", only a poor leader at worst.
If the 74% really don't like him that much, then get busy campaigning for his party's opponents in 2008.

No, it's just you get your information from liberal news outlets. They aren't a fair representation of the nation's opinion. Liberal media also doesn't report on the atrocities that al-Qaida are committing against their own people. Did you know that an entire village was wiped out just so the terrorists could rig the buildings with explosives? Or how about the death camps in North Korea? Or the aid the President has given to AIDS awareness and charities that feed the people starving in Africa? No mention of it anywhere, besides a few media outlets like National Geographic, Fox News, and many religious media outlets.

That might be the dumbest 'question' on this board currently (and that's saying something). Are you actually trying to insinuate that disapproving of what he's doing in office (that 74% you threw out there) means they think he's evil incarnate? Does your boss think you're Hitler if he gives you a bad performance review? I fear for the world if people can't make those kind of simple distinctions.

They would support Bush and Cheney even if they tore Iraqi foetuses directly from their mothers wombs and ate them on live television.
