Do you think this is inevitable at some point, given the latest find outside the London nightclub? It's not been said yet, but the inference who's responsible is clear. The media is always screaming about Islamic extremists - do you think this could cause UK extremists to emerge?

As far back as WWII, the CFR has filled key positions in virtually every administration since then. Since Eisenhower, every man(or woman now) who has won the nomination for either party (except Goldwater in 1964 and Reagan in 1980) has been a member of the CFR...

Just because you're running for president and trying to save the penguins you think you're soooo much better than me good old feather-fearing person huh? Well, I'll tell you PEOPLE OF THE WORLD. I know something you don't know but I am not going to tell you. You will find it in the deep dark recesses of this electronica song I've been repeating for the past hour or was it two hours? It was since I had a feather sneeze.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony

Hi everyone. Sometimes you hear people calmly speaking about their "20 week abortion" or some other persons "24 week abortion". I have to wonder if these people really know what happened during that procedure. I am guessing most people think of it like getting their tonsils removed, nothing too big or significant.
But I personally know that 20 week babies have been born and lived to live normal lives, (ofcourse most have some disabitities like blindness from prematurity).
So if a baby can live outside of the womb at that time, and cry and breath and all that...how is killing that fetus moral? But Im just assuming the people that have this done, just really dont know about fetal development.
So from your experience, do people really know but still decide to abort? The reason I ask is because my heart hurts thinking about partial birth abortion and I wonder if the world is desensitized or if Im overly sensitized.

By the way, Im not asking for a pro life vrs choice debate

WASHINGTON — Democrats want to cut President Bush's budget for Guantanamo Bay prison in half, beating the administration to the punch in shutting down the facility for terror detainees.

The White House says Bush has already decided to close the U.S. prison in Cuba and transfer more than 370 terrorism suspects elsewhere, possibly including the maximum-security military prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kan.

I can't help feeling sorry for Bush. His legacy has gone down the trash can. His failed economic policies have lost millions of jobs. His healthcare and social security policies have been a nightmare. He refused and failed to send an appropriate amount of troops into Afghanistan to apprehend Osama Ben Ladin and Al- Quida, instead, getting us stuck in Iraq. He is arguably the most unpopular American political figure of all time, in the eyes of the world. He has turned nearly every country against us, and raised Anti American sediment around the world to alarmingly high levels. He can't even convince Senators and Congressmen in his own party to vote on legislation he wants passed (Immigration bill). His polls have dropped to a 26% approval rating, and Democrats and Republicans alike have lost complete support for him. Bush’s administration will go down in history as a complete failure. You can’t help but feel sorry for the idiot.

Are scientific and unbiased documentaries? Films like this are made to raise awareness of an issue, it's up to the audience to do the research and get the other side's take on it.

I recently had a conversation with a high ranking gov, official, and we discussed 911 and he said our gov, is almost sure Israel was involved deeply with 911, especially when you consider all of the circumstances, they certainly had the motive, as they wanted us to get rid of Saddam, (we did) they have the capabilities, remember the( Lavon affair?) the attack on the ( U,S,S, Liberty?) the Lockebee plane brought down in scottland? no Jews were in the twin towers? the Jews that were arrested immediatly after 911 and were realeased suspiciously later,? but, he said no one will bring it up as nothing would be done about it if it is true, but, the one who brought it up would be ruined politiciallly, so what he says is Israel can attack America any time with impunity?? what is your take on this, as we did nothing before, when they killed our men etc,

The public is not interested in the truth, or facts, or things they can potentially change(because all of it requires either some form of work, or a new way of looking at something, such as assimilating new data, and let's face it, we as Americans DON'T think. We just react to everything, including our gross consumerism).

People are lining up to be even more disconnected from reality, with their PODs, and phones, American Idol, "reality" TV, Jerry Springer, Country Bumpkin racin', etc, etc. This is a society from disenaged from reality, and logic and reason is not on the menu.
