why are our familys out in another counrty fighting for them?why aint tony blair there along with prince charles.william ect why should our familys suffer?makes me sick.would they come over and fight for us if needed?i think not..............we are the ones effected worrying about our loved ones whilst tony blair is here doing nothing apart from tryin g to sort out his £5.0000 mortage debt

Why are George W. Bush (a neo-con) and Tony Blair (a Labour Party leader and ally of such people as Peter Mandelson) have such a positive relationship? It seems Blair is so dedicated to Bush he almost reembles a lap dog.

What is wrong with making a person view an ultrasound before getting an abortion? Are pro choicers afraid it would alter the views of everyone who gets abortions. I am not pro choice, I am a person who feels like everyone should know EXACTLY what they are doing with ANY medical situation in their body. And I think it is misinformation to tell a person that it is only tissue being removed. I do believe a person does have a choice in the situation, but I think they should still know what they are really doing. If they find these facts out later, it could cause more serious regret issues and more serious depression issues. The fact is...an ultrasound will show a full skeleton including fingers, toes at eleven weeks (Less than3 months) How do I know? I got one at 11 weeks and saw my baby girl waive her arms and move around, and suck her thumb.

Why do you get to preach human rights?
In the Western Inudstrialized world you are both the only country that has the death penalty (executes more per/pop'ln (% of its citizens than ANY other country inc. China and Saudi Arabia) and...does not give its citizens universal health care.
So, my question? Where do you get off preaching and boasting endlessly and flag waving and chanting USA, USA endlessly...about being the beacon of human rights and freedom in the world?
The rest of the West is laughing at you...and the rest of the 2nd 3rd world hates you.
Sorry, but it's true. Deal with it.

OK, I'll jump into the debate.

The anti-abortion crew hold to the moral belief that life begins at conception. We are a nation of laws. So, if life begins at conception, which of the following would you allow a week-old fetus to get:

1) A Social Security Card
2) Life Insurance
3) A deduction on its parents' taxes
4) A passport.

If the fetus is a child and a citizen at conception, it should be eligible for all of these things. If you do not think a fetus should be eligible for all of these things, then you belive that a fetus is NOT legally a person.

If a fetus is not legally a person, then the question of abortion becomes a moral issue.

Do you really want the government to be in the position to tell us what is moral and what is not?

I think they are just back tracking to cover their own guilt.

In my opinion, alot of Americans seem to believe that the entire world loves us and wants to live here. That is false..most people do not like America since we invaded Iraq and even before that. Believe it or not....I was on a trip in Italy when 9/11 happened and many of the people there said that we deserved it. Shocking and horrifying but true. I have traveled to many other parts of the world...they do NOT like the U.S. or what we are doing.
