That just might be the worse idea I have ever heard. Why don't we just raise the tax rate to 100% so we can give social handouts to all the lazy bums on earth? Oh and if we ever have to go to war or anything we would be sure to lose cuz dems are vaginas.

No - you'd just be doing what I'm sure you hate about Bush's presidency right now. Amongst that entire group, the only difference within their point of view is how far they're willing to go to show it off. A president (or a group of people lumped together to be president) should have dissenting opinions around him/her/they. This way they are able to gain a different perspective, and hopefully make a choice that's correct for America, not just a choice that simply furthers their own cause without caring about what a majority of Americans believe.

That would be great; a lunatic, terminally ill guy, a witch with no accomplishments, a philandering disbarred attorney, an eco warrior with multiple mansions, a complete phony who married twice for money, a drunken philander, a senile unapologetic Klansman and a poorly rated ex talk show host.

What a council of excellence. I guess that would get me motivated to study Mandarin Chinese.
