As far back as WWII, the CFR has filled key positions in virtually every administration since then. Since Eisenhower, every man(or woman now) who has won the nomination for either party (except Goldwater in 1964 and Reagan in 1980) has been a member of the CFR...

Sorry Homer, had to give David M the nod on this one. Good call!

Bill Clinton is, I would assume it would affect Hillary as well, but thats a little bit of a stretch.

Edit: Fine, Hillary probably is, John McCain is, Newt Gingrich is, and more interestingly, "John Diebold" was of the Diebold corp, who makes the voting machines. WTF.

I could not find evidence of the rest being CFR. There is a 100x positive things you can find about Ron Paul over his competitors, this CFR business can be applied accurately to only a couple other candidates.

Good source list of CFR's here

What's with all the thumbs downs?

The question isn't accurate, but Ron Paul's foreign policy of peaceful relations is certainly much better than our current foreign policy of aggression. Did the Vietnam war help America? Has the Iraq war helped America? Does giving money and arms to one group of thugs to fight another group of thugs help America? No, no, and no. The course we are on now will lead to bigger disasters. Maybe "give peace a chance" isn't such a bad idea.

If you are going to ask questions here you should be aware that liberals don't blindly accept what they are told. Neither do some conservatives but I find that fact checking is a mostly a liberal trait. Your premise is false. Only Fred Thompson is on the council. No other candidates republican or democrat are on the council. Cheney is also but he is not running. You'll have to do better than that if you want to promote a guy who is afraid of calling himself the libertarian he truly is.

Dennis Kucinich isn't a member of the council on foreign relations.
That organization is part of the establishment and it wouldn't be the establishment if they didn't want to keep the power to themselves.Ron Paul isn't part of the establishment but he's not the only candidate running who is free, independent with no strings.

He doesnt think out of the box, look at all of his interviews. he is for the presservation of the U.S. Thats why alot of people like him because he is self centered about this nation. Dont you agree? High five if you do.

Alreat some examples: i forgot this was politics haha.
1. War on Iraq- get out of there faster than the Democrats even.
2. And not get involved with any foreign relations.

Possibly because Ron Paul's attitude to foreign relations is to undo every multilateral development in world affairs since WW2

Maybe foreign relations are a bit over Ron's head
