America's success is in spite of its leadership

The success of America is it constitution and people. Our country is from the people to the government not government to the people. We hold the power to remove a politician if he /she is not meeting the needs or dis ires of the people.

Our leadership is only as good as the people who put them there. Our congressional approval ratings are the lowest in polling history and our president is very unpopular. The new congress promised to change the course in government but is as corrupt as our last. We only have ourselves to blame.

Our country needs to get away from the 2 party system. Our people are much more diverse then that. Having only two parties in power keeps a government from being progressive and proactive to solving problems. We should start looking at the Libertarian, Constitution, us taxpayer, and others to make our congress more divided. In this case divided we stand. Many parties in congress would make sides negotiate to get a majority vote. Raising taxes would be more difficult with a divided congress.

In part, America's success IS due to its leadership. Special interest groups, big business and corporate conglomerates have lined the pockets of our leadership to pass laws that benefit them - so instead of doing the job they are supposed to do (lead the person) - they are making it easier for the little person or the earth to be raped by big business.

Sheesh. Right, leadership and hard work had *nothing* to do with the success of the USA -- it just happened miraculously. or it's successful in 'spite' of its leadership. What's the freaking IQ on this site?

Good gawd, look at what hatred has done to all of you. It's made you complete morons.

If America is a success, it's IN SPITE OF it's leadership.

I think the opinion our most vocally demonstrative public has of our government is juvenile and seditious. Fortunately, most elected representatives don't let it stop them from doing their jobs.

Definitely leadership while faced with public whining, constantly.
