Humanist, cloning a user IS stalking.

A very intelligent contributor of Yahoo Answers was cloned once, then again and again, until he and his friends had to be fighting ad infinitum these trolls! WHY? Because he IS different.

I wouldn't be flattered, I would contact Yahoo ASAP, although we know that very little can be done about this.

I understand when you talk about the "spirit of Yahoo". When I found this place, I was very excited. I saw it as a place of learning and exchanging ideas. I admire many of my contacts and that doesn't mean I have to agree with them, I respect their point of view. BUT, this place is getting infested with trolls, clones, stalkers, racists, bigots, people that are full of hate.

The best is to ignore, but sometimes like in the "Gender and Women's Studies" which interests me, there are pages and pages of insults by clones, trolls with multiple accounts. There have even be threads of rapes and horrible explicit material. Same thing happens in Cultural Studies against minorities and on and on in so many other categories. This makes me think IF all this is worthwhile? Perhaps it is just a waste of time.

Report, report, report

You could report for cloning no doubt in theory. It does go against the spirit of yahoo.
But and I hope you don't mind me saying, for a clone this person seems to keep it very civil without attacks on your personal character or innuendo about your love life.I actually think it's a very funny persiflage for now and I would feel flattered

Just what exactly is the "spirit of Yahoo Answers?" LOL

Mr. Roger's neighborhood ain't going to ever mesh with free speech.

And if free speech cannot exist in politics in the US, then Yahoo needs to get rid of this section.

No, I think you flatter yourself. Very many times as I type a question a see several similar questions pop up. That means others have the same concerns as I. If you are vigilant you will see that the question has been asked before, if not, it will go through.

Emulation is the sincerest form of flattery.

No, I don't know who said that first and I am not going to spend the time to find the quoter.

Actually it proves how many people marvel at your self-perceived intellegence. When you clearly put your ignorance proudly on display so many times. It's kind of like watching a bad wreck, you can't help but to shake your head in the disbelief of what you are seeing.

yes, be flattered, but at the same time feel very sorry for those people who can't get a life of their own and need to emulate others in order to feel "someone"...... it is a sad hype.

Consider yourself "flattered." There are those who simply are not capable of intelligent debate. Rather, they would resort to name-calling, trolling, and "cloning" other users out of their immaturity.

Be flattered. It still bites but at least you know your getting noticed.
